Ha... What about the loud and not so proud fans in the stands mid-year?!?
Yeah they are hardly going to post an uplifting social media post about those bozos, are they?

I've seen a bunch of posters around here that seem to come for the downlifting stories... :p

MATTHEW Cottrell is well and truly used to being a Carlton footballer now.
But he admits that it took a few years to properly sink in.

Following in the footsteps of grandfather Len Cottrell, who played for the Blues in the late 1950s, Matthew always dreamed of pulling on his childhood colours on the big stage.

How cute is the flower girl so focussed, taking her job very seriously..:)

Reminds me of when my daughter was a flower girl at my brothers wedding - she was only 6 and she asked what was the job of the flower girl and we told her that her job was to hold the flowers - well she held those flowers from early afternoon till 11:30pm when she fell asleep at the the head table and we carried her out to the car and drove home and carried her to bed and we had to unclaw her fingers from the boquet of flowers she was holding - I think she had a cramp in her hand for the rest of the next week - but by geez she held those flowers and never let them go.

:D

I think you might want to read it again
Lol, I’m an idiot. I added an extra year to Vossy’s initial contract and had it ending in 2025. So I thought “2 year extension” was a misprint and it was meant to say 1 year, since the article is saying he will now be signed up until the end of 2026.

Love it!

Sounds like a one year deal since he is signed until the end of 2025. Four years with the one head coach (before we get into possible future extensions) would be something else haha.
A two-year extension for Voss is seen as a priority at Ikon Park, with talks on a fresh deal set to ramp up after Blues chiefs return from their Christmas break.

Yeah, I stuffed up the details of Vossy’s initial contract. I thought it expired in 2025. It was a bad stuff up on my part.
