Huh?But you do have an issue dealing with KPD's who can't perform in finals.
Maybe Choccie should take a few more pointers from old Crippler. Don't see him crying like a baby on the floor after trying to charge a bloke
No they haven'tThe Bombers have won a flag this Millenium. Carlton have not.
TBH I think Vossy and the match committee just said we're f****d so lets try something a bit different with all the TDK sub action and all that business.Hopefully big crippa earns another individual award this awards season to go with the AA. It must suck not being able to go to Bali, having to wait around for Brownlow night.
Walshy I love the way you go about it. I have a bit of a philosophical question for you - do you think last night we saw the return of crazy vossy? or has crazy vossy always been there deep down?
No they haven't

The Kennedy substitution and Docherty playing stuff was truly bizarre but I didn't really care at that point... Said from weeks ago that we were totally screwed and just been looking forward to the trade and draft period since.
He's been quite conservative as a coach so far at the Blues, was a bit off norm.Playing doc was the craziest decision imo. 30 year old, 6 months off a third (?) knee reco with no match fitness. I don’t know how they thought that was going to go.
At least cincotta would have tagged someone.

I think there will be some big list moves this off season though which from memory is where he got the nickname no?
I believe its been Will Hayward, Nick Haynes, Dan Houston, Christian Petracca mentioned so far... Looking forward to seeing Fat Slug Clarence rolling around in our 2s next year on 1.5 mil a yearTime for crazy vossy to go to work. Likely targets include Clayton Oliver, Taryn Thomas and Paddy McCartin.
If Nicky goes down for the Pies next season they've got the Spoon sewn uphow long before carlton 'win' their next spoon?
how many spoons can they collect before they earn a legitimate top level flag?
It took you 7 minutes to figure that out.No they haven't
We'll still win a flag before you do though. How many premierships has your club won again btw?Collingwood at least came back. Reckon you'll be enjoying some time near the bottom.
It wasn't a humiliation at all. It was a brave showing by an injury plaqued and ridden team. We fought it out well and went down fighting in the end.If i offered you 2 wins against the pies, finish behind us only on percentage and then the pies go on to get absolutely humiliated in the final ? Would you take it ?
Every day of the week would be the answer, Carlton fans just don't have the testicular fortitude to admit to it.
It was 1990 in name only in reality the modern era starts in 1987. The year the comp went national imo.The AFL era is when the competition was actually called the AFL: 1990 onwards. If your club has won multiple flags in time frame they have some kind of claim to being a relevant/successful side of the modern era. Yes, even if they were terrible for most of it like Richmond.
Hawthorn 5
Geelong 4
West Coast 4
Collingwood 3
Brisbane 3
Richmond 3
Sydney 2
Essendon 2
North Melbourne 2
Adelaide 2
Then there are Tier 2 sides, who have saluted once:
Melbourne
Port Adelaide
Carlton
Western Bulldogs

I like Vossy as a person but as a coach he's poor tactically imo. The whole backroom team around him needs freshening up, but i think he deserves at least one more year before considering a change of coaches.Selections were all on Voss though- why leave the one bloke who could have shut Zorko down out? It was embarrassing from the match committee, yeah have a song and dance about playing Docherty 5% fit at best…then let’s compound it leaving Moir out who was your best small forward! Don’t blame the players much but it was a humiliation for Voss and co in selection. The game was over as soon as the teams were named.

The selection for that game was all wrong he should have stuck with the younger players.
Our midfield could do with more pace for sure, but the main issues are a lack of a second key position defender and a lack of craft in our small forwards.Give him another year but under no circumstances will an extension be granted till after the finals next year if you make it. I’m far from convinced on this so called great midfield I keep hearing about and at the end of the day midfields win premierships nowadays. Cripps is a star but it’s been 2 years plus since Walsh was net his best and it falls away drastically after that especially when Voss refuses to play Cerra in there

I think Vossys contract runs out at the end of 2026, but if 2025 is another poor year then there will be grumblings for change.
No they haven't
