AFLW 2024 - Round 10 - Chat, game threads, injury lists, team lineups and more.
You couldn't even beat Essendon though. It's the confidence you have in a team that has been regular premiership contenders since the turn of the century.
Once we got going towards the end of the season after spluttering through the first 15 or so rounds, we beat the premiers and fell a kick short of the runners up as they were both gearing up for finals onslaughts.
So we can be much more bullish about the possibility of seeing our team contend again in 2025, than supporters of another club who haven't seen their team contend for a premiership in over two decades...
And Carlton, in their 24th year of building and rebuilding, couldn't even beat a team that couldn't beat Essendon. You couldn't even beat Essendon though.
9th is about right.
That 1 point over North must have really instilled some confidence in your playing group to launch into a premiership assault for 2025And Carlton, in their 24th year of building and rebuilding, couldn't even beat a team that couldn't beat Essendon.
Oh no...
You forgot to mention the Carlton games. That 1 point over North must have really instilled some confidence in your playing group to launch into a premiership assault for 2025
Or was it getting within 2 goals of the gold coast , or maybe getting within 2 goals of the Bombers, or the 3 goal defeats against St Kilda and Geelong yeah that must be it
Then to really boost the confidence of supporters for the season coming , they get within a whisker of beating the dockers , bombers again, and the Swans.
At this point you think that the pies are flying so let's finish the season strong against a miserable Richmond and Melbourne who have just announced that there best 10 players have checked out - congratulations on those belt notches. Yeah you knocked over the premiers but I mean who didn't this year right ?
Yeah but obviously we beat more teams that you couldn't beat because we finished higher, that's a fact before you come back sooking about the draw. And Carlton, in their 24th year of building and rebuilding, couldn't even beat a team that couldn't beat Essendon.
Oh no...
That's awesome for you as a Carlton supporter but I was responding to the question around what makes me confident as a Collingwood supporter that my team will return to premiership contention in 2025.Yeah but obviously we beat more teams that you couldn't beat because we finished higher, that's a fact before you come back sooking about the draw.
I have full confidence we'll win next years flag. Why you ask? Because i barrack for Carlton you goose, i don't need stats or any other reason aaaand if i didn't think that i may as well give it away. That's awesome for you as a Carlton supporter but I was responding to the question around what makes me confident as a Collingwood supporter that my team will return to premiership contention in 2025.
As a Carlton supporter, what gives you the confidence that your team will contend for the premiership in 2025, after not having seen your team contend for a premiership in more than two decades?
A great insight into the minds of deluded Carlton supporters...I have full confidence we'll win next years flag. Why you ask? Because i barrack for Carlton you goose, i don't need stats or any other reason aaaand if i didn't think that i may as well give it away.

Collingwood supporters after winning the 2023 flag and regularly contending for the premiership over the past two decades - 'We're hopeful we can regroup to put ourselves back into premiership contention, though it will be difficult as there are a few other very strong teams who should be right in the premiership mix'.Serious question, have you thought that every year?

You've got to stop 'imagining'.
So, no reference to the word 'all'?"Carlton supporters after not contending for the flag in over two decades - 'I have full confidence Carlton will win the premiership'" no difference mate, still grandstanding..
You put a "S" on the end of supporter so same thing. So, no reference to the word 'all'?
Putting an 's' on the end of a word generally means 'plural', or 'more than one'. Not 'all'.You put a "S" on the end of supporter so same thing.
I made the comment, no one else did.Putting an 's' on the end of a word generally means 'plural', or 'more than one'. Not 'all'.
