Oh, look at who it is… you’re the same guy that “lolled” at any post last year that said Pies weren’t going to go B2B.

How did that work out for you?
🤣 🤣 🤣 at salty flogs melting over a single premiership?
A LOL emoji means more than one thing.
The saying goes it's hard to win a premiership... straight after the GF last year flogs like yourself were saying no B2B.
I was just celebrating and basking in the glory of 2023 with the LOL emojis.

So you're now suggesting Carlton's ability to trade in much needed talent is hamstrung by the current position of your salary cap?

This despite when it was suggested as another reason as to why this current iteration of a Carlton rebuild would not eventuate in a flag, we were told we didn't know what we were talking about?

Well, well, well....
I'm not an ITK kinda person. Don't take what I said as gospel, geez. Maybe the club is looking at all of the options right now and won't commit until they see who is available and at what cost.

You mean people like me were proven categorically correct, and your coping mechanism was to “lol”.

Only the very best sides go back to back.

Perryman is a role player. Remains to be seen if he can even cut it as a full time mid and same for Allan.
The Giants used him as a role player. The Magpies intend to use him in his proper position that he was drafted in and achieved strong B&F results in

Yet another great acquisition for Collingwood.

A dual position player who can be played where best suited based on opposition, injuries, etc.
Trade week hasn't even started yet and we're already winners, what else will we gain in the next few weeks? Peatling? Houston?

Can't wait for next year 😁

Some clubs such as Collingwood look at their list like a jigsaw puzzle, recruit the missing pieces, and as a result regularly contend for premierships.

Other clubs such as Carlton just take on whoever wants to come to them, and get halfway through a season before they realise they don't have the list profile to contend for a premiership.

Collingwood have about 10 gaps to fill if they wish to participate in september

And have fallen off the cliff since....
Jeepers.

Where does that leave Carlton if we were still good enough to beat you twice, and the only reason you finished above us was due to your double up games against Richmond and North Melb, after more than two decades of building and rebuilding?

Maybe it's got to do with salary cap and paying over 1 million dollars for a half back doesn't sit right with the club? They also have TDK and Weitering contracts to negotiate this year and that Million doesn't allow much for negotiations. Plus , he ain't no Lauchie Schultz
But hey, I'm just a supporter what would I know
I would add on to this that I think draft picks are another reason the deal will be very difficult to get done. Even if Houston prefers Carlton North can offer far more than we are willing to. As he is contracted Port would be stupid not to take the best deal available

Lol, you think your list is still close to contending after going from 1st to 9th .
Delusional much

It's the confidence you have in a team that has been regular premiership contenders since the turn of the century.

Once we got going towards the end of the season after spluttering through the first 15 or so rounds, we beat the premiers and fell a kick short of the runners up as they were both gearing up for finals onslaughts.

So we can be much more bullish about the possibility of seeing our team contend again in 2025, than supporters of another club who haven't seen their team contend for a premiership in over two decades...

More holes than Swiss cheese. Can't see either us or Collingwood getting near Brisbane or hawthorn when the whips are cracking.
That would mean that neither will be contending next year.
Keep up the positive thoughts but , it's good for banter. Off to bed 1am

You're half right.

Carlton won't be getting near the genuine contenders in 2025.

Yet again.

Seems like your "Lol" posts made quite the impression and on him. He's been keeping receipts on you for a whole year.
Bit sad really.

Pies are finished they got no good kids coming in. Look at this disgusting draft hand.
Gold Coast might give us pick 12 as part of the Noble deal, they're trying to get rid of it because otherwise it'll be swallowed up by the Lombard bid at around pick 10...

... then we use 12 to get Houston 😆 to add to Perryman

Stuff the "good kids", we want another flag

Looks like Houston will have a problem once he plays with the Perryman then
