It turns out the "blue print" has been uncompromising in its pursuit of sustained failure.

"Can you smell what the blues are cooking", "They know we're coming", "I am Victory, I am Carlton", "The blueprint".

I can't think of any sporting organization in recent times that has talked up their success more and delivered so little. Perhaps Liverpool, but even they won the champions league.

All this talk has made Carlton the laughing stock of the AFL. At least Melbourne recognize where they sit.

It's gonna be cats/pies/hawks/freo/swans for the next 3 or so years then in come the expansion clubs suffice to say if you've missed the boat ala Carlton you're ****ed for a long time yet.

Groupie just mad because Richmond got owned by Carlton AGAIN, 10 goal Richmond win lol, what a joke.

Not really mate. Richmond fans know all about meaningless late season wins agaisnt finalling opposition. We have made a habit of it. Such wins are worthless.

Raising your game agaisnt big rivals who have their eye off the ball has been a Richmond speciality.....and Carlton are now practising the art.

Nothing new in any of this.

The MM message is being released.
From the ground up. Patience. Brick by brick. Rome wasn't bult in a day. The Ox will get a run soon.

MM has put it out there. Judd has already run with it. The board are now on the bus. Expectations are hosed. Good for MM to be back with his old long term planning partner as CEO. Need to cut deep. 10 players a year for 2 or 3 years. Get the coaching team, fitness staff and development structures in place. Might need a 4 year contract. Has to be a role for Neeld next year. You'd want to hope the 650,000 eggs in the Daisy chain don't crack.

Such a poorly worded title.
