Couldn’t let this wonderful clubman retire without a huge thank you for all you achieved and gave our club. Been one of my favourites since you joined the club at pick 40 odd in the rookie draft.

Poor bugger gets smashed in packs from the wing when giving a chop out contest to under pressure defenders, all the way back down the ground to the goal square. After scattering defenders and team mates alike, we reward him with stints in the ruck chasing the opposition ruckman all around the ground.

Rarely see someone work so hard to improve themselves over a whole career, and almost never see someone so competent in so many different roles when the club has needed him to cover holes all over the ground, in traditionally specialised positions.

Be happy with your career Levi, you have exceeded all expectations and thoroughly deserve the accolades you will receive when your career is looked at objectively. You will leave a big hole at the club from your infectious smile, to your work rate, to putting your body on the line, to the double cobra celebrations.

Thankyou for punishing your body to provide us with so much enjoyment over the years. Hope you can now take it easy and enjoy time with your family. Been one of your biggest fans and defenders from criticism in here because you gave everything you had, and that is all I ever want from players at our great club.

Yep. Strange how we like/admire/respect the Peter Deans and Tom Alvins (I know Levi is below these guys) as years pass.
A blind turn and baulk make for good tv; but we love the blokes who absorb punishment and compromise/diminish themselves (stats) for the good of the team.
Full of respect & admiration for this bloke. I 'd love him to somehow stay on ............................ (what's a 2nds contract or rookie worth?).....

Was a good man Levi, probably the best one grab clunker of the footy I have seen. If he had a better kicking technique, he could have been anything. Enjoy retirement Meat.

Can't believe he almost got to 200 games.

A bit of a one-trick pony, but it was a bloody good trick.

Was never good enough to be the main forward, but would have looked better if we'd had a decent forward or two next to him. In the few games he played with Waite and Henderson, they all looked so much more dangerous.

Well done to the big lug. Liked his retirement speech too.
