Quite simply put; yes.

It's ****ers like that little runt who need to be taught a lesson 2x as hard as what they deal out to the kids they bully. Unfortunately that's the only way halfwits like that learn by recieving some of their own medicine. And for the record he bodyslammed him onto the concrete on his side. Perhaps if this 'bully' is dumb enough to persist with his bullying after this incident, smashing his head onto concrete would be an appropriate form of action.

I don't mean to sound condescending in any way, but what do you expect Casey to do? Walk away and allow the bullies to have their way, after being bullied for probably the hundreth time?

A precedent needed to be set in order to prevent any further bullying from occurring, and if the school wasn't going to step in and help then Casey was well within his rights to react the way he did - especially after getting punched square in the jaw. Under any such circumstance one can reserve the right to act in self defence, and that's what he did.

I'm a looong way off from being a parent, but if Casey was my son this is something i'd be smashing into the mind of the school Principle. If such an incident occurred outside of school and charges were laid, he'd be seen in the eyes of the law as a victim acting in self defence, so why the hell doesn't the school see likewise? Why punish the victim? Why haven't they considered the circumstances behind why he reacted the way he did?

I'd say it's a case of the school suspending him in order to cover up the fact they failed in their duty of care to prevent the bullying from happening in the first place. Poor form.

It is a school's responsibility to protect all of their students and when they don't it forces people like poor Casey to take matters into their own hands. It's unfortunate but it is the only way little pissants like that ******** will ever learn to shut their mouth.

Exactly BS, I was always taught to defend myself if was being bullied The guy himself was a head case. I was bestfriends with a girl who was quite a tall and overweight girl anyway she was walking to class one day and the little prick tripped her over and she broke her arm.

There were always rumours that his mother had infact abused him as a child so it was probably him acting out what his mother did to him.........The guy was 12 so he knew better than to hit people and his hits werent 'affectionate" or "playful " they were full on punches he gave 2 black eyes in the 3 yrs I went to that school.

Weird. I remember when I was at school in about 2003-2004 things were different. This kid and I didn't like each other and one day he decided to get physical about it.

We did the usual collar grabbing dance that kids do, until I goaded him into hitting me. He punched me in the side of the face and I was pretty pumped so I just laughed it off. He did it again and I thought to myself that if I hit him now I wouldn't get into trouble because he threw the first punch. So, I pushed him against a wall and punched him in the face. I hit him in the nose, so blood was pissing out everywhere. He went to the sick bay and I just walked off with a couple of mates.

About ten minutes later the vice principal wanted to talk to me. I explained what happened and he said something like "Well, it looks like you got him better than he got you." The other kid got suspended for a week for starting the fight and I got off scott free (and rightfully so, in my opinion). Everythng went better than expected.

It's probably fair to say this is not the first encounter of bullying Casey has copped from skeletor. For the little skinny rat to get this confident about hitting him while he stands there would likely take a long period of verbal abuse and progressive physical abuse.

Skeletor got exactly what he deserved and now the internet will finish the count.

Typical bully stuff, numbers on his side, progressive escelation of abuse and when Casey popped off, nothing from the rat or his 'mates'.

Also special mad probst mention to the girl as well for putting the hanger bully in his place at the end.

As for this kid getting suspended.....where was all this school authority during the progression of this? I say MOAR Casey body slams for the teachers, bully's parents and anyone who stands in his way.

You would think he wouldnt be able to get up at all or even put any weight on that leg if he had a broken shin Hell I have had a broken shin and it was a heirline fracture and I couldnt for the life of me put any weight at all on that leg He would know if its broken thats for sure I've known footy players who have broke their shin bones and have screamed in pain when trying to put weight on that leg just after their accidents.

That kid would have screaming if that leg was broken same goes for broken ankles.

My little brother broke his ankle playing footy & he walked off the field. With adrenaline kicking in you'd be surprised what you can do. That kid could have easily broken something from the slam.

fat boy is pretty respectable for not dropping him on the head, you can see the kid was about to land on his head but the fat boy changed his motion at the very end and rotated him using part of his arm that was on his neck instead causing the runt to hit his legs. Nice act of mercy there

But I would of prefered it if he slammed that kid's head right into the pointy end of the wooden fence that surrounds the garden bed though.

It would be a very sad state of affairs.

Like others have said, the progressive bullying that twerp has dealt out to Big Show has gotten to the point where he stands there without a care in the world and showboats while punching him in the face. Twerp didnt just get up that day and decide to agitate Big Show. It's probably been going on for over a year, gradually building up to that arrogant display.

I've gone to school with and also taught kids like Casey. They're ostracised from the school society and taught to not attract anyone's attention (by other students obviously). They keep a low profile and are happiest when left alone with a couple of other friends. Twerp is boisterous and over-the-top in trying to stake an alpha claim and get attention from, mainly girls, due to his physical limitations. The way he hits him, the way he gets someone to tape it and the peacock display from the twerp all tells me that he does this simply to further his own standing in the school.

IF Casey dropped him on his head and he died, it would be terribly sad. It's quite clear that Casey simply snapped and decided he had to take action. He didnt go further, he didnt attack anyone else, he did what he had to do. You corner an animal and they'll try to escape. But you can tell Casey didnt want to drop him on his head, he rotated him and moved his hand to make sure the head moves to a parallel position.

It really was perfect for all concerned. Taped so Casey has evidence of provocation, big hit to warn off bullies, no real permanent damage to twerp and a couple of days off for Casey to cool off and the whole thing to blow over.

Everyone points to the teachers, but it's a very hard situation to stamp out. It's covert and subtle. Judging by the emptiness of the yard and the fact they had their school bags on (most schools use lockers now), I'm guessing it was after school and most had gone home. It's very hard to pinpoint and stamp out.
