Well, we have our 2016 victory pack to watch again this weekend to remember what its like when we can play footy :D

The loss sucks, but there were some positive signs (2nd quarter notwithstanding)

Bailey dale played a pretty good game I thought. And Dickson is so nice to have back. And to have Wallis back and playing like that relatively shortly after breaking his leg is crazy.

This campaigner swung the match with a shit decision and then handed them a goal with 50 meter penalty. Nice.

Was hoping to be 6-4 at worst going into the bye & we would have been pretty well set, likely 5-5 after the annual Saints grand final loss.

I was convinced that the hunger would still be in the group, but some fire just seems lacking in the players but Bevo really wants it. It's a shame the group isn't repaying the faith of what he's done.

I hate Geelong with a passion that they have our measure no matter, can't believe it.

Big picture is this.

Wallis, Morris, Dickson will all be so much better for the run.

Stringer, Libba and Roughead are just around the corner.

We're playing as poorly as we have under beveridge and we've taken Geelong, west coast and GWS to the wire on the road.

I'm not happy. I don't recognise this team. But we can build.

Seriously, what is wrong with us against these bastards?

They have 2 good players FFS, and we still can't beat them. They are honestly not that good of a side...

It's getting sad and absolutely pathetic now to be honest...
At least we haven't lost 14 in row to #lolnorf

I fully expect us to continue this crappy form all year, win 14 or 15 games and then try and turn it on for the finals again. Our desire for these home and away games isn't where it needs to be.

Frustrating loss. Great for two quarters, not great for one, awful in that second quarter. They brought it tonight, they're a different side on narrow grounds.

Couple of guys didn't handle the heat too well (with ball in hand), Williams and Adams in particular, but they will be better for the experience. Thought Dale showed some really good signs tonight, was very classy.

Would've been nice if they pinged Selwood for any of the six times that he was caught holding the ball but not much you can do about that. Cameron Ling was happy to have a crack at McLean for ducking last week but wouldn't dare say a word about Selwood's blatant cheating, anyone surprised?

Should've probably paid more attention to Dangerfield in that first half.

Great to see Wallis back, he was our best. Jong was great as well probably his best game.

They are not even a good side bar 2-3 good players. It shits me to tears

A few things.

Our obsession with handballing and handballing to blokes under the hammer is beyond a f***ing joke. Enough. Kick the bloody ball.

Cloke. Just go.

Adams. Ditto. Just Magoo with the ball in hand.

Whoever was on Dangerfield and Selwood? So, I'm sledging you thin air.

The second quarter. Never again.

The final quarter. Don't just think you can put in two quarters and expect to win a game. You can't.

This is a wake up call. We either pull the digit out and get serious or we fritter away the season. I want a huge game against the Saints now. Must win. No excuses.

Expected result to be honest.

I know we aren't that sorta side but we need a line in the sand game against geelong at some stage to shake this thing they have over us. If it costs a few reported players i reckon i'm up for it.

Cloke didnt lose us the game you tools, the first qtr did

This was a time Suckling needed to stand up. He didn't but Williams got the ball lots and we crucify him. Well at least he put himself in those positions. Where was sucking?

Cloke in the ruck turned the game twice in our favour. Great move by Bev.

You just have to hard tag Dangerwood all game. If there other shmucks beat us then so be it

Well done Wood, Wallis, Boyd and Dale

Say it every few years but the dogs are ruining my life.

Also as per last week I think Ling is a hoochie mumma lady garden sniffing Anzac biscuit.

Also Murph needs to concentrate more on his impact rather than top 5 lists and celebrity.

Only one person to blame for that loss and that is Bev

Not playing Libba against Danger when he totally destroyed him down there last year until he got injured

Playing Boyd Red and Cloke

Not tagging Danger or Selwood

Absolutely p!ss poor coaching I think Bev needs to stop reading his own mail and stop p!ssibg around.

This loss again rests solely on the midfield. That last quarter was pathetic. Absolutely pathetic. Every centre bounce was Dangerfield or Selwood with an absolute paddock. How do you let that happen????
Yes it was, but being gifted countless scoring opportunities from pathetic, abysmal home ground umpiring in the last quarter absolutely kills ya

I heckin'g hate Geelong, why don't they piss off and die. PLEASE! On a positive I thought that was Bailey Dale's best game. Webb showed glimpses and so did Williams. So many guys had bad patches. Could not get a holding the ball paid all night. Very frustrating. Geelong has given me mental illness for 30+ years.
