Felt Cats changed focus after losses to Swans and Blues.
Wondered if the Don's win flipped back, Future to Finals.
O.Henry Mannagh for Clark MOC signals stay on course.
Scott's slow and steady transition to youth is on track
Neal, Knevitt, Humphries earned another game on merit.
Performance based selection encourages and motivates.
Play well and you earn a game, underperform and miss
This is fair to both Senior Cats and hopeful Kittens.
AFL and VFL players now have something to play for.
Cats building form at business end of season is exciting.

I just had a quick look back at the first quarter of the VFL GF and he played high half forward pushing up to the contest basically the same as last week. Apart from 1 late against Port Melbourne I'm not sure I've seen him take a centre bounce. I don't really get why you're convinced he's a midfielder.

Personally I'd give Dempsey some centre square time if one of them has to go in there because he dominated VFL last year the times he played inside mid and I'm pretty sure that's where he'll end up.
Dempsey in a couple of years will be a star mid, has Connor Rozee progression written all over him. Might even be better once puts on the size

Good ins but that midfield looks a bit thin, need big games from a couple of Dempsey/Knevitt/Mannagh/Bowes.

If we can get inside 50 cleanly, could see Stengle or Henry having a big day without Sicily there. Neale’s first big bag?

Bowes is such a barometer. He's been good in all the wins he's played in. 5 good games for 5 wins. 2 ok games for 1 close win and 1 close loss. 3 terrible games for 3 bad losses.

We have to find a way to get him performing consistently.

Here's the Hawthorn team for those interested
