Milburn gets a "mark" in the goalsquare after the ball being kicked from the behind post. Sums up the home ground umpiring standard.

Have a cry.

Ever since i've been here you've been whinging about Geelong. Funnily enough though when we started winning you disappeared.

It must sting haters like you to see us with the double chance.

Just saw McDonald claim that he could have employed the flood against Geelong but opted to 'take them on'. Ah, would that be why whenever Hawthorn went forward after 1/4 time they had about one player to kick to? Balls. Went the flood to avoid the spoon. Which by the way (despite being ugly football) is fair enough, but to claim they played their own game rather than clogging Geelong's is churlish.

On K-rock, Bomber Thompson indicated that Spriggs will probably play next week. As crazy as it sounds, he said he wants experience for the finals, which is why he left Tenace out. Even after he said this, I would still be surprised if Spriggs played.

OUT: Spriggs, Haynes, Rooke or D. Johnson
IN: Bartel, Wojcinski, Enright

After the Adelaide match, Thompson said that there were a couple of players who were passengers where it came to interstate matches, but had to go with them due to injuries. Well next week, we have more choice and those passengers can be 'rested'. But who are they? Corey?

Really satisfied with the win, and the season as a whole.

We got through the game without any injuries, got some miles into the legs of Tweek and Rooke and covered Bartel quite well.

No excuses next week with Bartel and a couple of others back.

Apparently he did and it was well off the ball.Had Cox not done that,I don't think anyone would've known the mohaired dork was playing.

Him & the Mop [Master Bateman] makes Spriggs look like a superstar.

Incorrect - it was Nick Holland who gave Hunt one on the way through - definitely not Cox. Don't know if the cameras would have picked it up though.

Didn't Geelong claim earlier in the year they couldn't find 3 players to delist? Surely Spriggs and Loats can be chopped without even thinking.

We were absymal after quarter time, clearly didnt' want to be there. At least Luke Brennan showed something. We have a lot of dead wood to clean out, starting with Nick Holland.

And yes, we had a great run from the umps all day, no complaints there.
