Scummiest area in Victoria.

Not surprised.
Isn't Hawthorn getting investigated for systemic racism? Losing on and off field these days. Maybe that's what Hawthorn need, at least when they were racist they managed to win more than the odd game. Nowadays it's all about celebrating storming into 13th position on the ladder.

Disgusting performance

Can’t wait to see tonight’s team selfie…
It's such a fine line isn't it.

Players enjoying their footy, mucking around a bit, cool goal celebrations etc. can be a great sign of unity and a tight culture - but it can also be a sign of a group of flogs that have gotten ahead of themselves.

The scales can tip over very easily.

Dwayne from the SEN Geelong boy's Club.

Why did play continue btw when the Hawks player was concussed?

Geelong did the same dirty tactic when Prestia was lying concussed on the ground.
Care to explain your CFL conspiracy to the masses.

In fairness, kudos to Sam Mitchell for the very public stand he took against racism in his post match press conference a few weeks back (essentially "if those are your beliefs, we don't want you").

Something's going on with this Hawthorn team this year, it's like they have a team full of debut year Mark Williamses, Xavier Duursmas, Rhys Mathiesons and - yes - Jack Ginnivans running around for them. They like to antagonise, rub the opponents noses in their successes and celebrate every goal like the start of Baseketball, even if they're losing by 40.

That's awesome. Good for them. But that sort of stuff tends to really rub opposition teams the wrong way, especially those who've paid their dues. It's just the way it is. Geelong isn't a team that traditionally gets involved too much in that sort of stuff over the past decade, but I still remember Selwood mocking Mathieson in the first few games of his career with an imitation of his rifle/bow and arrow celebration or whatever it was.

Jiath and Chol are part of the group and if they want to dish it out (wasn't too hard to read Chol's lips when he disagreed with a free kick paid to Tuohy), be prepared to take it.

Unlike a lot of fanbases, Geelong can look back with some pride that we weren't one of the home crowds that contributed to booing Adam Goodes out of the game in 2015. A fair few others can't say the same.

Geelong put on an absolute clinic today. Their best is great but just haven’t had the consistency so far this year.

Seems to be if the mids can avoid being belted, we have the forward structure to do some damage. Hawks tried all day, but basically we jumped them at the start and that was around the margin.

Geelong had something like 6 shots in the first 6 minutes. Hawthorn were dominated for the most part of the day and the Cats just played fast, clean footy leaving the Hawks in a daze.
