Mimi Lebrock should be too good for them, she was knocked down last start after setting on the pace, should have won IMO. She'll be better sitting one out, one back, she beat home Devil Moon here at her only go at the track.

I've got Musket in the next but my confidence is shattered with McEvoy's pathetic riding skills with inside barriers. No matter if he had Makybe Diva to ride, he wouldn't be able to steer it home. Michael Rodd and Damien Oliver in good form, they've got Maldivian & Mad Rush respectively, may be worth putting a little on each.

In the Caufield Cup, I've gone with a boxed trifecta. I'm not going to say it on here because it's giving me bad luck at the moment and I'm quietly confident with my trifecta's winning chances. No Weekend Hussler featuring in it though despite McDonald's praises.

Can someone explain the box trifecta to me. Not so much the box trifecta as to how the betting works with it. If I have 3 horses for first, then 3 for 2nd, then 3 for 3rd - and I place $1 on it how much will it cost all up?

How are the odds for a trifecta worked out?

Can someone explain the box trifecta to me?

I don't know all the ins and outs with them but I think I got the minimum bet with regards to boxed trifectas with 4 horses at $12. 3 of them have to get a place and they can get a place in any order, that's where the boxed part comes into it.

I'm not sure how they work out the divdends if you win the tri to be honest, if I told you any answer I'd be lying.

It's quite laughable a good tryer like Barbaricus works its guts out for the whole trip yet only 2 horses could get past it.

Nah harness racing destroys all. Watch at Albion Park tonight the race with Blacks A Fake. This horse is the Phar Lap of the harness racing world, a champion if ever you will see one and the crying shame is, people consider it a rubbish code compared to gallops. Stupid mentality to have..... This horse can win from anywhere, can even sit on the outside fence against the best and kick there heads in..... something a galloper will never do!
