Just read on the Pies board that these rankings are meaningless because the value of Crisp and De Goey is "unquantifiable".

They are seemingly just two special unicorns who play on a different metaphysical plane that renders any conventional methodology of football analysis utterly useless.

It also fails to factor in the "Beams will struggle without Pendlebury getting him the ball" and the "won't be able to handle a tag" factors.

So yeah, nothing to see here.

Don't forget 'downhill skier' and 'no defensive game' factors

If this isnt turning into a classic win win deal I am a bad judge

Brissie always had a fair idea what they were getting and so far Beams is living up exactly to expectations. Landing a top 10 mid is a major victory any day of the week and Beams has many years left

Collingwood were on more uncertain ground. We had an obvious major loss to mitigate and so far it has turned out well. De Goey looks exciting, Greenwood came back to the VFL this week and had 18 possies in his 1st full quarter of footy so will be back son but Crisp has suprised us. I admit to being a doubter and saw him as likely depth running around in the VFL. He has gone way past expectations and his kicking, which Johnno Brown has mentioned a few times in commentry as being his weakness, has been really strong. It has made losing Beams easier and I think both clubs will be happy how it all turned out.

Beams is your best player. Well done.

If you believe Crisp hasn't been better than half of the 20 listed you don't know much about footy.

Yeah TheBrownDog - you've been told. Nice work, TW. Way to read something in a post which wasn't there.

This is why Crisp wasn't included. Not high-profile enough.

Of 15 of the most high-profile players to switch clubs last year through free agency or a trade, Beams tops the list for players who have brought in the most wins.

Apparently Christensen is crap and he has become our new whipping boy. Really saddens me when people smoke ice and post on Bigfooty.
