Be a tough ask for someone who is currently an assistant coach at Hawthorn.

Even if he wasnt I doubt that he would make a good pres or would want to be one. There would be plenty of roles at the club that he would be perfect for though should he be interested. Let's hope that it happens one day.

Mark Maclure would have been a good choice who loves the club take no crap and been in the Media although just heard has early signs of dementia and Alzheimer’s disease. Mike Fitzpatrick would be a great choice and someone like like Justin Madden how about Adrian Gleeson, David Glascott or Tom Alvin.

Generally speaking ex footballers don't make good presidents. Fitzy would be good but he is 71 and may not want the hassle.

Plenty of good candidates that aren't ex players though. The current board seem to be running the ship well so I'm sure that they'll come up with a decent candidate.

The “I don’t remember the conversation with the ATO” line either made him incompetent or negligent or both. I still think Carlton voting members (my membership doesn’t qualify me to vote) should have been a bit more intrigued on what the whole affair suggested about his leadership credentials.

I have a close mate who works for PwC who reckons it is a hollowed out shell of a company in the wake of the work it has subsequently lost.

Scyne took a heap of the contracts with it but they're also cutting headcount

CFC is a multifaceted business entity (football, Carlton College of Sport, now medical imaging, etc), with many commensurate legislative requirements, connecting with many corporate and government entities and community groups, and with Revenue for 2024 of around $97 million, with also a core business of being a successful football club. Membership on the board would now be on a skills basis, with the President needing a broad skill set. Normally the next President would have been an existing member of the board, and I see no reason why this couldn't be the case for us... Patty Kinnersly...?

No Craig is the Chairman of Transurban.
