CGBLS – Chris Grant Bulldog Legend Society

Ok..we have the PSLA, we have the BHAS – and now we have CGBLS = Chris Grant Bulldog Legend Society.

This man has given us 300 plus games of excitement, rejected an offer from Port Adelaide after a young boy offered him 20 cents to stay, a battle scarred warrior who can play in defence or up forward, had a knee reco, shoulder and neck concerns, a broken jaw, twinges here and there, was denied a Bronlow which we know in our hearts he won it, a former captain and an all round nice guy this combination in a footballer is very rare.

Join in everyone and show your allegiance to the great man Grant and urge him on to become our record games holder later on this year!

Will be remembered as one of the greats of football - on and off the field.
No supporter ever forgets a player who turns down a better offer to stay loyal.

Truer words have never been spoken, or written in this case.
Well put Aquamarinejewel.

I'll gladly state my allegiance to the CGBLS.

Sign me up, Aquamarinejewel.

The man's an absolute champion.

From the first day I saw him at the Western Oval in 1990, I asked my dad to get me his number for my old woolen footy jumper.

Even though the jumpers have changed, I've proudly worn the Granty's number on my back ever since.

Every time he goes down with an injury these days I cringe, because he deserves to go out with a flag, and hopefully we can send him off on a good note this year.

this society potentially could be bigger than the bulldogs membership tally this year.

At his best he is too good for this comp.

where do I sign

Skoosh, your allegiance is written here in black and white ...you are Member No. 6 :thumbsu:

Not given the true respect and status he deserves by many opposition supporters -except perhaps Essendon fans:)

But a legend to us who will forever be up there with the likes of Hawkins and Whitten.

I too would like to join. If he were single I'd be upset that Im not gay.

Since I've started following footy, he IMO has given more to the Dogs than anyone else. And nobody represents the club better

The_Flying_Egg - You are on the correct bandwagon, what better way to salute our Rolls Royce, you are a worthy member...you are member No. 9 :thumbsu:

to copy what I said in the favourite Bulldog thread.

If it was physically possible i would have his children. I hope he has many sons so in years to come we have lots of grants :p

And i must say im happy im not the only one to say something kinda gay, even if only the flying egg was the other person to say it

I've never seen any player do so much for his club, a true champion, both on and off the field.

The great man IS the Western Bulldogs Football Club.

Where do I sign? :)

Hm, you don't get these comments on a BHAS thread.

More like "If it was physically possible i would help Brian with some serial killing"

Perhaps in a century of chaos, one Harris is enough for this planet.

incubi - imagine a whole bulldog team with the surname Grant - we would have a premiership team and an all AA side in every position ...you are member No. 10 :thumbsu:
