This is getting to be full-blown Crows v Lever type stuff now. Absolutely embarrassing for and from the club.
Everyone wants a simple reason for this outcome, a good guy and a bad guy, but as bomberclifford said about 10 times there is no truth both sides have their own versions there is no good guy or bad guy.

Let Chad throw as much shade as he wants, "let it go" and go and win a premiership farken.

We all know your all campaigners either way.

Like when he went into the midfield and from that moment he was third in our b&f. No, you were right about that...

If you look at what that post was referring to, it was in relation to what Feel had said about Wingard not being rated around the club and that he might be traded at the end of the year. At the time, I was thinking he was over exaggerating the issues. So I humbly apologise to you, Doctor Feel.

And no one is questioning Wingard’s talent. It’s never been about that. It’s about his application to be the best he can be.

P.S I’m not sure why people love to quote my posts out of context...

Lol - Tredrea says the players ranked each other on their adherence to club standards.

The two lowest?

Polec and Wingard.
Lol.

Design a process with a pre-determined outcome that you can hide behind to justify a decision to manage someone out.

Are we a football club or the public service?

You do know every AFL club does it? Not just us, it is part of the self evaluation every side does. It isn't a new concept
So what?

It’s a stupid concept that is designed to scapegoat and shame people, and it’s been very well proven that high performance comes from self-motivation not fear.

Because that wouldn't alienate anyone at all would it
Rankings are fine, but this is a ‘and make our community proud’ bullshit ranking. How about these bunch of underperforming shits rate themselves on how likely they are to be the difference between winning and losing a game. And the lowest ranked ones over 22 put themselves up for being traded or delisted. That’d be a ‘We exist to win premierships’ ranking. This club is so arse about right now.

Oh bullshit. It's designed to give players honest feed back from their peers, and to motivate them for the summer ahead. Proof is in the pudding with Chad and Jared both walking. If Polec and Wingard can't handle that then they are better off gone.

Also Chad ignoring messages from Westhoff and co as Tredders has stated says it all.

Chad will be in for a rude shock if he expects it to be any easier at Hawthorn. They are notoriously hard on each other as a club and playing group, it is about time we did the same to ours. We have bent over backwards for Chad, Hinkley went into bat for him to keep his spot, and that wasn't enough for him.

You can give honest feedback without ranking people.

No one managed Wingard out but Chad Wingard.

The sooner people accept that, the better everyone will be.

Will he do better at Hawthorn? Maybe he will. I don’t think so, purely because a new environment is a shit reason to change an internal motivation issue, but that’s just my opinion.

People talk as if we just lost peak Chris Judd. And that’s what Wingard should have been, but never was with us for whatever reason. He and his management will say the club never gave feedback - which is a load of shit because players get feedback every week - and the club will point to the fact that the feedback he was given was a poor reflection on his standards.

Wish it was different, but it is what it is. We dust ourselves off and move on.

This may be so but try and tell your wife or girlfriend at your anniversary where they could improve and see what happens.

Is that professional sports is it? No it isn't. It's a ruthless environment, and Chad made his choice. Good luck to him, but with all the available information it's better for both parties for him to be gone.

Social media is open to the world. I’m sure someone in the Antartica has seen it.
For sure everyone and their dog can see it, but it's done first and foremost for the Hawks fans. No different to pics and interviews that our club puts out about new players. We expect them to look ecstatic about being at Port don't we? ;)

Yeah I know, just sometimes when you point out peoples failings it's hard to take.
Pity they didn't apply the same logic to Ken when they extended his stay at Alberton after poor results and guess what he didn't improve in 2018.

Well sorry but it is all you will get. No club will air their dirty laundry in public and nor should they
No amount of wailing and gnashing of teeth will change the fact that Wingard is gone and nothing will convince supporters that the club was in the right because Chad is so loved and the administration and coaching is so hated.
Coming years will tell if we came out of this ok.
I won’t be able to bear watching Chad in a Hawks jumper but such is life.
No they won't openly come out and be adult about it but leaking bullshit through rumours and past players is ok. How unprofessional and bullshit Port Adelaide look at the moment.

I'm hoping they have this off season, I don't think Ken will last long next year if we start the season poorly. Schofield and Montgomery will be exactly what we need, and in turn Ken needs.

But I do agree with your statement.
