Forget the late out nonsense, this is his planned rest game. Was always going to be the way we did it, make the Dogs plan for him

Cats did this during their compressed fixtures and are now looking sharp. Half of our rests have been forced by injury, but we should hit finals with a fit squad.

The weather situation is slightly better than expected earlier in the week.

30-40% chance of rain and only 0.6mm predicted during our game.

It has been very overcast here all day, without any rain falling.

Wind has been strong as well, which I expect should prevent any dew from settling.

There is a lot of rain just off the coast that thankfully has stayed away so far.
