He got tackled awkwardly by I think Johnson early in the game.Thilthorpe has weird knees. They don’t blow ACLs (touch wood), but they do get injured a lot.
I know, but my point still standsHe got tackled awkwardly by I think Johnson early in the game.
Is this a quote from one of our coachesIf Thilthorpe is out, sadly it has to be Berg in.
Unless we are playing Port at Adelaide Oval in a prelim.True, but we won't get the ride the Bulldogs got from the umpires that year. No non-Victorian team would ever be gifted a run like that.
Keep an eye on St. Kilda. The next time they get close, the VFL will go out of their way to make it happen (unless they play another Vic team).
Borlase has rucked in the SANFL on occasions.Himmelberg at both levels and actually Himmelberg's ruck work has been good of late at the lower level. If Murray is out too, we really need a 2nd ruck option. If ROB got injured, who would we run in ruck - Butts who is also sore?
No, if Thilthorpe is out, we need to play Berg as too risky otherwise.
Get innovative. GiveIf Thilthorpe is out, sadly it has to be Berg in.
Given our record of ACL's to our ruckman, and tall forwards, and that TT is both, it's real heart in the mouth gear every time he tweaks a knee. You'd almost put m... nah can't finish the sentence.Thilthorpe has weird knees. They don’t blow ACLs (touch wood), but they do get injured a lot.
I think there maybe some soft tissue between the earsThilthorpe has weird knees. They don’t blow ACLs (touch wood), but they do get injured a lot.
To me, he seems like a good role for the sub. Could easily be thrown into the middle fresh in the last quarter and have an impact, or go forward and take a couple of marks etc. It's more that as other players become exhausted, their top speed drops. This then brings them back into line with Sloanes. At this point, Sloane is a great option because he fights harder than just about anyone. Before that point though, his inability to run with a player is a massive liability.
And no upside so you’re not messing a kid’s development around. To me, he seems like a good role for the sub. Could easily be thrown into the middle fresh in the last quarter and have an impact, or go forward and take a couple of marks etc.
agreed surely someone needs to debut this week?C7 say Murray scan shows he is ok but I would rest him just in case. Gives an opportunity to try someone else Borlase or Keane.
Ugh, I'd rather a debutant, Hately or a tray of lasagne playing. If Thilthorpe is out, sadly it has to be Berg in.
or have the most ridiculously biased umpiring I have EVER seen - and thats saying something - getting you over the line on the big day. I wanted Bullies to win after Tiprat but was amazed at the blatant cheating on display by the green thingsCan’t see us playing at our home ground for a semi final and the grandfinal though if we finish 7th
