I'm in the chorus of people who are a bit nervous about this game. We need to start well. What i am afraid will happen is that we don't start well again, give up a big early lead, and then panic having to play catch up for the rest of the game given whats at stake.

My read of the weather report is that it's going to be a really wet ground and fairly wet during the game, but probably not bucketing down the whole time.

Maybe that's why Venables has been kept in, to turn up the tackling intensity in the forward half.

I wonder how we and Brissy have gone in the wet this year. Have we even played in the wet?

Allen isn’t some lumbering unit with the turning circle of a steam liner. That’s a fine in, equivalent to Ah Chee in terms of small/tall dynamic in my mind.

Schoey is a little puzzling from a height POV, but Brisbane do come in pretty tall so let’s see how it goes.
