Ah.. the typical Keays fan club response…

they know to try and defend his utter garbage would just make themselves look silly at this point.

so they go the desperate “just shut up” route instead and hope that puts a stop to any Keays selection criticism.

and then they pray hard that he has his 1 good game in about every 7 this weekend so they can strut around like prize utensils and hens saying ”see, see, see.. we told you he was good!!”..

1 GOAL AND 7 FXXKN BEHINDS IN FOUR GAMES…
I’m not a part of his fan club. Just sick to death of your constant spewing of bile.

Did you misspell Berry?

Sloane should be rested at times during the year.

Was sore after round 1 & showed in the 2nd game where he could hardly run.

No, Berry was out of form and since he’s been managed he we have basis to say he’s improved.
Schoenberg has.

I wonder if we are keeping an eye on his numbers.

I started a post about how I felt Sloane was affecting our decision making ie Jones or McHenry on Sloanes wing at the start of the year. Berry now out of the side with Sloane in the middle etc

But ultimately Sloanes numbers are Keays like and holding on

Schoenberg has.
Schoenberg's form wasn't great either.

Imo, both need a good hit out in the sanfl & earn their way back.

If we need to rest Sloane, can bring back in McAdam or McHenry & play Keays more on ball.

I reckon keays has close to 100 naked photos of bifgfooty posters with the way he's defended on here.
Probably - I used to give them out like autographs

I can send you one of me today if you like

One more year, then Tyler Welsh takes his spot.

No pressure young fella!
Oh.. and Tyler welsh is only 189cm tall..

his mum is tiny and his dad was only 188cm tall..

he looks pretty solidly developed now. He may be an early bloomer and has done all the growing high wise he will ever do.

if he doesn’t grow any more he ain’t gonna be a Tex replacement. He’ll be a Mcadam replacement.

I hope he spend the next two seasons pushing into the midfield.

Fog is our Tex replacement.

His presence frees up Fogarty and that alone in itself is worth a lot to our forward line.
Tex's leadership can't be undervalued too.

Reckon Fog may end up with the better defender but then Tex can get under their guard.

Could Welsh end up being a Gunston type?

Talent is talent, so sure we will find room for him no matter his height.

Agree Fog is Tex replacement.

If Tex continues his current form, he can keep playing... but we need to manage his games.
Burgess will know exactly how to manage him.

the only real difference between 2022 and 2023 Tex has been his yips in front of the big sticks.

he’s missed some very basic shots on goal..

the four he kicked on the weekend hopefully went some way to ironing out those yips.

He should be playing most weeks but I still think he should be left out of the team that goes to tassie though..

Just got home after a long work day. Stoked to see Fog back in, I've missed him. Fortunately the team hasn't so much with 2 good wins without him. Gollant, unlucky, thought he did quite well but he'll have his time. Surprised at no McAdam, he adds another dimension to our forward line. McHenry exclusion was a bit of a surprise although we may see him as sub. I've been his biggest critic on here I'd say but he did ok against Freo. Still too many brainfarts though and Pedlar is way better.
Go Crows, destroy those blue baggers.

With Gollant, Fog and Thilthorpe are we at the point where this should be Tex's last year with us?

No shame in him cashing in somewhere else for next year. Will always be a Crows legend.

He still offers a lot of on field leadership, and does well in terms of score involvements.

But is it time to make that call. Gollant should play every week.

At this point, I kind of lean to yes. Tex is best 22 this year and I'm certainly not advocating dropping him outside of the occasional rest game, but to my eye it just looks like Fog and Thilthorpe are showing signs that they're ready to be the main men to lead this club.

Especially with Tex output dropping this year (it's not just goals, but most things are tanking), it certainly is shaping up as time.

He will play, 100%.

I will eat my shoe if he is not named.

Leigh Montagna in raptures about Rachele and Rankine

Rachele 2nd ranked half forward/mid outside of Petracca
Is the Crows most impactful centre square mid (and acknowledged we were struggling in there overall)

Rankine 2nd most potent target inside 50 in the competition (when he's targeted we score)
