keays has never tagged saad at all. He has simply run off of saad and been very damaging to Carlton in doing so.. mainly by gut running to the point where saad simply couldnt keep up.

thats not tagging at all.. thats a shoot out between two players to see who can be the most damaging which keays has won the on the last two occasions.
Yep.
Good to see you giving Keays credit where it's due :thumbsu:.

I'll ask again --- are you mellowing BC? :sneaky:

I couldn't help myself, I did the math on their season averages.

Keays: 18Disposals /0.66goals per game
by half 9/0.33
Daicos: 36.66 Disposals/1 goals per game
by half 18.33/0.5

Yeah, that would be a landslide win!
So a heavy tag changes the game from 18 vs 18 to 17.5 vs 17.5, and advantaging us from the differential above.

The math doesn’t lie!

is that what you guys are claiming Keays should be put on to Daicos to do?.. or do you want Keays to be put on him to hard tag him?.. to not leave his side all game.. to basically have keays forget about his own game and focus solely on sticking to, scragging, holding and tackling Daicos for four entire quarters. As a tagger would.

seems you guys aren't too sure..
I don't think Nicks will tag Daicos, but will make sure that anyone, anyone at all, who is close to him will give him some tough attention.
If the Crows play well enough for 4 quarters, they'll win, especially if they start switched on.

If not, review and plan for Geelong. Sunday's game and the next 4 weeks will reveal whether the Crows have truly turned the corner --- 'the read deal', as Dunstall claimed --- or not.

Unchanged for me. This team deserves an opportunity to play for a win at home like they did 2 weeks ago.

I just really hope Keays goes to Daicos, it is unbelievable how this guy is not getting sat on. 40 touches and 2 goals was the difference to Essendon winning.
McHenry will come out, no chance they make him sub 3 games in a row

Keays better be side by side with Daicos for the entire match. Feel like hes one of the fwd/mids who can actually go with him on a tag and kick some the other way.

You led the Cats at 3/4 time in the Qualifying Final last year and lost. You got run over by the Cats.

Im comfortable in saying if the Crows are down by a goal or less the Crows will run over the top of the Pies, you lose.

None of your wins last year were off a 5 day break, traveling and with injuries to key positions.
Emotional come down from Anzac game more a factor than 5 day break IMO

Our best win this year is off 5 day break

As long as you don’t have too many or consecutive 5 day breaks they are possibly even beneficial , keeps the body in tune and don’t need to train much other than recovery

Schoenberg sub and Mchenry sanfl is what I would do

Unchanged 22
If Schoenberg had played more footy I wouldn’t have an issue with that, but I’d like for him to have some continuity of games.

He was sub, bye, one game and then could be sub again. 1 full game in a month for a guy we want to see some form consistency isn’t ideal IMO.

I’d go for someone like Cook, is versatile, has played before and could provide some x factor coming on.

Fair call , happy to see Cook

Or keeping it even more simple...kick it to Frampton's man.
Depends whether ROB is in a marking mood... but no point in our forward line given his goal kicking skills...

Sorry to intrude but i had to.
Yes a 5 day break isnt ideal but we just dont get run over in the last.

If the crows are down by a goal at 3QT, you lose.
Intrusion welcome.
But...
WHAT!!!...
If the Crows are down by a goal at 3QT, Collingwood have clearly played above themselves! It seems you guys don't understand what you're about to get on Sunday. This will be the most hostile experience for your team and whatever support you bring with them. We've had years now of being the whipping boys for you guys.

And now it's revenge time!

Crows by 29...

Nope, not me.
I am not in the Keays-should-hard-tag-Daicos boat.
I’d rather see Ned go to Daicos. Probably the only player who could go with him all day

Nah. Ned would give away frees and, would use it poorly if he got the ball. I think Keays is the man.
Keays does seem like the obvious choice but Pedlar could really hurt Daicos - in various ways. Kick a couple of first half goals on him and it would certainly make him more defensive minded curtailing attacking flair. Peds much better chance of achieving that than one goal 7 Benny (or whatever it is now)

Hey bro, how about you take your collingflog rubbish back to your board, hey?!
Have you heard of Darren Burgess? No? OK.

Hey bro, I thought his contribution was fine. We are not a board that stomps on oppo poster’s for making fair and decent points.

Have some respect for the Pies and what they have done in the last 18 months.
