Geelong aren’t that good. We didn’t play well.
It’s a 78 point loss but I’m not too worried about this one as the players were all cramping up in the last quarter and put the cue in the rack. Get Darcy, Young, Bolton back in there and we will be fine.
With the exception of ALex Pearce, this was the worst out backline has played in a while. I don’t think Luke Ryan is fit. Draper had a shocker. Clark provided no run. Walker continues to make poor decisions which cost us goals.

I am confident we won’t play that badly again.

Hardest preseason (and in heat) we've had supposedly, Coach trying to have us extremely fit. Cramping up in the last quarter is nonsense if we were out cramping the Cats.

Hung in for a while. Geelong will gave a few teams a flogging up there.

Was always going to be tough with so many missing but 10 goals to 1 in the last is pretty unpalatable to be honest.

I'd also assume the Reidy experiment is finished. That was God-aweful to watch fall apart.

So many players just not up to it. Looking at the centre bounce and seeing Banfield??? in there with Reidy and one of NOD/Johnson really exposes how weak our midfield depth is.

I don't want to see Reidy anywhere near this team. Everything he does is a net negative.

Amiss really has done nothing for a while now. Don't think he even had a single shot today.

Cox probably had more free kicks against than effective disposals.

Treacy can't kick anymore.

Worner offers absolute **** all.

Walker has been so sloppy and lazy with all of his touches.

Jackson needs to learn to take a mark.

I don't think Ryan won a contest all day. He was awful.

Serong non existent for the whole game except the third.

Apart from Reid I don't think there was a single good performer that game.

Not even a versatile 9. Chappy has shown he has the potential to play other positions but hasn't been trialed and was on the bench.

Worner is a nothing player, makes errors and doesn't even have burst speed to provide something in attack. Punch in contest in the goal square when Cameron is coming to contest.. moronic.
Pearce made some criminal errors and was beaten handily from the first bounce.
Ryan looked at sea and couldn't keep the ball in front of him on at least two occasions which cost us goals.
Wagner fumbled, and missed targets by hand.
Draper handballs to team mates under pressure when he isn't under pressure. He did this last season and did it at least four times today, all of which we had easy options to move the ball forward.
Walker... have been a supporter. As Taylor mentioned on the game day thread. He has a great ability to put the ball in dangerous positions.
Cox and Jordan were mostly solid.

9 defenders! And we select a ruck and didn't play his as first ruck! If we are going to select him he has to be first ruck. If not, select Voss to play second ruck. This was peak foolishness.

Sharp bombed long and missed two Amiss leads wide open and the Murphy lead.
Johnson long bombed and Amiss had five meters on his man 4 times. Treacy was ignored by Johnson 3 times and one was the simplest of kicks to 30m out.
