I’d probably just move Freijah to defence to cover Cleary and bring Jones into the 22.

Jones can play wing and I would move West or Harmes into the midfield rotation until we get Treloar & Bont back.

There’s not a heap of other options. Baker or Poulter could also be options.
Im super intrigued by keeping the fridge in the middle.
Poulter had a decent pre season, put him on the wing, truck down back where his previous experience will be vital.
Gallagher out, gotta hit targets at the G and he struggled at Marvel.

In: Buku, Baker
Out: JOD, Cleary

Williams and/or Freijah to spend more time down back to help out when needed. Stick with a quicker, running side - suits the style of game we played against North, and will be important on the bigger ground

We need to run the Pies off their feet on Friday night. Port were just shockingly bad and didn't want to be there so I'm not reading too much into that result. I think we can expose them with our fleet of smalls and I liked how we tried to go fast and direct through the corridor on Saturday night.

JOD looks like he'll get up. Looked in pretty good touch and will be important with Lobb down back. While I liked Freijah in the middle, he will be very important rebounding from defence on Friday night.

Big game for Vandermeer also. Probably his best game last weekend, let's see if he can back that up.

Darcy caused all sorts of problems for them last time. If he's on, they won't be able to stop him.

I think we win this with the added emotion of reverting back to Footscray.

I'd ask how you know that but I'm not sure i want to know

What’s the expected crowd on Friday night?

Don't think they update it very often

This list has been updated because JOD is on it. So. the grim reaper who goes by the name of Bell is saying Bont could be another 6 weeks. Not sure how we rehab players but they seem ultra conservative. These players when they come back better not have re-occurrence or Chris Bell or you will not be updating your injury report we will be looking for your replacement.

Genuinely believe that we need to play taller in defence, and that English and Darcy were both poorer/quieter than they needed to be because when rucking or in general play they were in the mentality of pushing back to be tall support for a short defence, rather than pushing forward to help with our bad ball movement. Like I've said before English offsetted lack of physical stuff at the contest by pushing forward and kicking 15 goals this year, but the positions on the ground he was running to vs North, he does not look like he will even kick 5 goals this season, and then his lack of ruck craft becomes more troubling as an overall package of him as a player.

Assuming Buku for Cleary as a direct swap, I'd even bring in two of Gardner, Buss and Croft to play tall in defence, for O'Donnell's and whoever else (Dolan maybe).

Any chance of us trying to tag Daicos? Do we have anyone who could run with him?

Do we think Dolan can run out a game on the MCG?

Williams, JOD and Lobb down back with AJ and Poulter/Baker to come in for Cleary and Gags/Dolan.

The spare out of AJ, Poulter and Baker as sub.

Harmes probably the most suited

I don't think Collingwood are that good and at full strength we would pants them but this should really be an easy kill for them this weekend. The only way I see us winning is we are a lot faster then them and could really run them off their legs
