If you think they have "it" you just play them and find out. If you have quality no point leaving them in VFL very different levels start the journey to having them become solid contributors.

They can hone areas of development in VFL if required but if they can contribute going to fast track their development at the top level.

Can allow you to sort the wheat from the chaff like Charlie Clarke. Seems like Hynes has the temperament to make a fist of being in the senior environment

Still think we are 1 tall too many. We didn't get opened out the back up anywhere near as much in the first 2 games as the last 2.

Agree in general, but not for this week. The ground is much smaller and the game will be more congested. Intercept marks will be important and we need to be able to compete in the air. JOD needs to do a job on Harris Andrews.

Not critical of it. Having missed as much footy as he has I thought he’d come through the VFL.

Some experience won’t hurt.

I watched the replay with him in mind (among others). I thought he was OK.

I am undecided about Dolan right now. I think he's a great acquisition and I have little doubt he'll be a good player for us in due course but I wonder whether he is ready yet.

Is he about to break out with a 16 disposal, 2-3 goal, 2 GA game? Or is what we've seen so far about his level until he bulks up and gets a bit more experience?

I'm hoping the former. MC seems to thinks so. They have given him a lengthy run - 5 games straight without spending even one game in the VFL.

JJ only needs four games for his 200. Whatever happens with his season and career it would be a nice sentimental milestone to reach. Especially for the club's only Norm Smith Medallist (so far).

Only 28 players have made that list of Bulldog 200 gamers.

That much is logical. However he was travelling emergency last week and also missed the week before with the VFL bye.

I'd be pretty surprised if they took him to Adelaide.
