LOL that would make too much sense.Seems to me making it 15 steps instead of 15 metres simplifies it for everyone. Impossible for umpires to accurately judge 15m constantly given everyone has different stride lengths etc. Set up to fail.
Fair enough. Sucks not being full strength. Genuinely believe Gardiner was doing OK at his role and would be so handy there. Much better option then a barely mobile Fort. He's only kicked 2 goals in his last 4 games so would come in completely out of form
Shame HSmith has been injured but I'd go with Fort

I'm worried it might hurt Danihers performance. He seems to relish 2nd ruck and gives him some 'ownership'.I think the benefit we'd get from Fort second rucking would outweigh the benefits of bringing anyone else in as a forward and we can always sub him and bring on some more run
Leftfield option but could bring in Dev to play midfield and give Dunks more time forward
100% be easier more black and white.Agreed. The mistake is they don't call it all the time. I'm a big advocate in actuallay applying the rules that have been laid down, rather than ignoring/downplaying some because their bosses want the game to flow. I still maintain more free kicks would open the game up more.

I say roll out the "good guy" defence again, just for laughs. Give the media something to talk about this week...Looks like we'll be wasting our time at the tribunal again
Christian is a joke
I think his off the ball work has been ok (at least it appears that way on tv) but his form with the ball has been the poor bit that he hasnt been able to shake. This is where the hippy critics and fans alike get to evaluate their opinions.
I'm a fan - think he does a lot of underrated filling holes and running blocks. We will see.

agree, i think second ruck gets joe in the game and keeps him in the game and to some extent worries the opposition backline setup as the changes happen.I'm worried it might hurt Danihers performance. He seems to relish 2nd ruck and gives him some 'ownership'.
Hipwood's definitely out. Whilst Ryan hasn't been setting the world on fire in the ressies, I think I'd prefer to see what he has to offer over Fort. Or play a smaller more mobile forward line, although that is risky when Joe goes into the ruck / should an injury occur.
I'll accept that relish is a stretch. He seems to be better IMO with that responsibility.Relish might be a bit of a stretch. It gets him involved for sure but he comes across in tele as 90% gambling on how to shark it or how to outwit the opposition ruck without competing for it.
Is Ryan a chance to debut with Hipwood out? Haven't followed how he's going with you guys in the 2s but I love that weird gangly looking unit.
This is what I was thinking…play Rayner, Morris and Joe as the three talls. Bailey, Lehman, Charlie as the smalls and Ah Chee as the bench swing man.I think last time we played them Sicily had a field day and they gave us the run around all day. We were just chasing tail and the score line should of been a lot worse.
To stop that happening again we need a much better output from the whole midfield group and try to squeeze up the ground quickly when we do move it forward.
Maybe Bailey in for Hipwood. Play Bailey exclusively as a small forward and Rayner to play CHF.
