Terlich and Byrnes out for sure. Byrnes is just so ineffective... Doesn't go near the ball and when he does, he fumbles it. Well and truly over the hill, thanks for coming.

Give Salem a full game with Blease sub, and Clisby in for Terlich.

This.

Would like Riley to get a run too, but not sure who for...

Riley has to play next week I think. Clisby or Toumpas in for Terlich

OUT: Terlich, Byrnes
IN: Riley, Toumpas (Grimes back to half-back rather than spending time in middle)

Thought we conceded goals too easily against a team that doesn't have a good forward line tonight, Grimes going back would add more composure especially if he replaces Terlich. Also allows us to add a mid to the team

Agree with that, we worked a lot harder for our goals - didn't defend particularly well.

I was at the game so ill post my proper thoughts tomorrow

Matt jones nearly made me jump over the 3rd tier but he played a good game an anyone saying he should be dropped is a fool , he worked his ass off to make those chances and you can't drop him for missing

Dean terlich has lost my faith which ill explain tomorrow

Anyways ill do the rest tomorrow

Fk how ordinary is Byrnes. Tonight was set for him to at least kick 3, we had plenty of I50's for a change and it was a night set for crumbing forwards, he's just over it now. Never a world beater, just did the basics well, and the game has passed him. Doesn't appear to do too much on field coaching and educating either. Happy for Blease to come in this week after a good game. Would like Riley in for Terlich as well. Put Jack Grimes back in defence and Riley into the middle and it balances things out. Otherwise bring in Clisby for Terlich for team balance.

Out Terlich Byrnes

In Blease Clisby

Would like Toumpas back in the side, but at the same time, I'm ok with him just getting some game time in the twos. Maybe a swap for Bail??

Agree with you.

Matt Jones criticism is completely ****ed. He worked his arse off last night. Ran like a maniac to get to space, especially in the 4th. His misses were costly but if he didnt bust his arse as much as he did we wouldnt have even had those shots at goal.

At least you two are off the Terlich insanity train. Jones is a long term fill in. Last of the triers out if at all. He'll always be a good depth runner. Has Byrnes had a passable game this season?

Can't remember one. I dare say his time is up at the end of the year.

Bail and jones are our 2 hardest working outside runners, on one with better skill will replace them until people underneath are able to gut run deep into the 4th which they can't

Terlich and grimes are equally poor coming out of defence in fact when grimes isn't impacting 3rd man in like last week he is useless , I hate him in the midfield

Yep.

Lol. He's not a midfielder but seriously lol.

Yea, im not saying he's a good player or anything, but much like Pedo, give me a team of triers who work hard than a team of Jack Watts'. He is very limited but its not like we have any gut runners hanging down at Casey do we?

Shannon Byrnes. Another tick for the Rude File. Been as useless as i thought he would be from the day we recruited him. Terrible player, give me Blease turnovers ahead of this spud.

Like I said Jones is a long term fill in. We have more problems than solutions and he's handy most weeks.

Pedo I can't see leaving the team as long as we have no other part time ruck option. Gawn likely can't play with Jamar and Fitz hasn't come on. I wonder if Dunn could give it a crack, he's fairly huge these days.

When he gets tackled he turns it over an sitting behind the goals you get a great perspective of who are the good bad decision makers

Dunn/garland - good

Grimes /terlich - jebus...

I sat behind the goals too, you have a terrible case of confirmation bias as you did with Rivers. You've just swapped players.

Reckon that's a bit harsh on Jones, his skills are inconsistent - but he drilled some good passes last night, is fairly clean with the ball and has great pace... think he's more than a trier.

He was playing local footy 3 years ago, he could well end up a 100 game player.

If we didn't have the bye the following week I'd almost consider giving N Jones a rest. He's battled hard this year and the last couple of games has shown it a bit. Did he twinge his hammy before the Crows game?
Jones has seemed a bit down the last two weeks, I know he was heavily tagged last night but he doesn't seem to be 100%. I think the bye can't come soon enough for him and i wouldn't be opposed seeing him sit out the Port game in Alice before our Queens Birthday clash.

OUT: M. Jones, D. Terlich, S. Byrnes. (Howe they might look at sling tackle hopefully overlook it with all the head hits this weekend)
IN: J. Toumpas, A. Riley, V. Michie
Salem full game he is ready to rock. Make Toumpas sub for 3 weeks see if it works as well as it has for JKH and Salem.

OUT: S Byrnes, D Terlich
IN: S Blease, M Clisby

B: N Jetta - T McDonald - C Garland
HB: J Grimes - C Pedersen - L Dunn
C: B Vince - D Cross - R Bail
HF: M Jones - J Frawley - J Viney
F: J Kennedy-Harris - C Dawes - C Salem
R: M Jamar - N Jones - D Tyson
I/C: J Howe - M Clisby - J Watts - [S Blease]

E: A Riley - M Gawn - J Toumpas

McKenzie, Kent, Georgiou also in the frame.

I think your confusing me with someone else I was a rivers fan , IMO grimes is a poor decision maker an I maintain that strongly

He gets lost in the midfield I think his strengths are reading the play when it's on front of him

Out: Brynes

In: The Tyson clone I've been working on

Grimes definitely better half back flank, I noticed last night that Jetta was getting sucked up into the midfield as well, perhaps given the way the dogs play, Grimes and Jetta just found themselves in the middle of the ground because that's where their opponents went?
