Yeah, Magner should have come in for him surely (must be doing something wrong behind the scenes) but in his absence I'd rather keep McKenzie than either Bail, who is a poor excuse for a midfielder, or drop him for a flanker in Kent/Blease.

So is McKenzie, not shutting down anything and is a putrid excuse for a football player.

Drop and shoot both.

I just want Clark back :(

I honestly reckon he is worth 3-4 goals a game, even if he doesn't kick them himself.

Definitely. I want to see him and Dawes in the same side!

An extra 3-4 thousand bums on seats too I'd imagine. He genuinely brings hope to our supporters.

07, Pretty sure Danny Stanley had to play on Russell Robertson in his first game

He did after Harry O busted his collarbone early on.

Can't believe Strauss got the boot again. He was no good last week but if you dropped every Melbourne player who turned in a shocker there'd be nobody left - let him get a few games in if you're going to then turn around and waffle on about how crucial senior games experience is.

I get the feeling magner and blease are on ice until dogs/saints game

Very frustrated by Strauss being dropped. Must open up a spot for Joel Mac to play in the backline this week... a few weeks back we had all four of Terlich, Strauss, Jetta and Nicholson in the team at once. Now there's only one of them along with Dunn and Macdonald.

Obviously Strauss's ability to kick the ball well is making Neeld and the rest of the team feel uncomfortable.

Look, Strauss makes like no impact. But the question is why he can't just stay in for a month or two so we can decide one way or the other.

Sure, he's only had average games in the team.

I don't know how we can expect him to have an impact if he keeps yo-yoing in and out of the side - he's only played 20 games.

Fundamental problem of Neeld's. Changes 1/4 of the team every week, discouraging our bottom enders to take the game on and gain confidence. They know they have a better chance of playing senior footy if they grab it and pump it down the wing, than if they take the game on and make a mistake.

Yeh that's right, but it seems some bottom enders who are playing average get long strings of games, like Bail and Sellar for example, but other guys are in and out like yo-yo's, like Strauss and Blease.
