The most unlucky thing about that incident was that the umpires completely ignored a blatant two handed push in the back of Schade in the marking contest that shifted the whole pack a metre forward and resulted in Schade missing his clearing punch of the ball.

There was about 4 free kicks in that passage of play. Hands in back both by Lobb and Cameron to pies defenders, Patton jumper holding Dunn and then Patton being counter jumper held by Dunn.

He was no good at Melbourne in either position. He'd probably kick 80 goals a year but we'll never know because our coach doesn't like change.

When discussing Mason Cox earlier in the week I hadn't realised that the hawks would be without there best 2 key defenders.

Given that situation it probably is somewhat strange we haven't gone with him again after his 4 goal VFL performance.

He has been named an emergency so it's possible we're going to wait and see how the weather unfolds on Saturday.

I don't mind trying a smaller forward line though I feel one of either Crocker, Mayne or Kirby should have come in to bolster the options.

Mayne would bring the experience, Crocker another strong marking mid sized forward or Kirby as a a point of difference because outside Sidebottom we have no talented *crumbing forward option.

*Brown and Daicos could potentially play this role also in the early stages of there career.

Didn't realise making comments like:

1. Buckley should be sacked when i first opened my act on here (2015)
2. Frost is shit and should be traded (2015 when everyone was head over heals in love with this bloke)
3. Aish should be played at HB (comment made at start of season and continuously throughout the season when others gave him the flick).

Were so outlandish.

More outlandish comments.. as follows:

1. Greenwood should only play when needed. We have one grunt player in Adams.. we need an extra bloke in the midfield with class or at least offensive flair.. having Adams and Greenwood playing together does nothing for team dynamics but stifle it.

2. Howe should be played up front. 2 yrs of maturity at Coll.. we may just see him succeed as a forward yet.

3. Moore should be given more time down back.

4. Ramsay and Smith are no good!

Everything else is pretty obvious.. lack of kp players.. Blair.. etc.. not worth a mention.
