Sydney have done very well against top eight sides this year. Forfeit this one and we have games against Gold Coast and Adelaide to bounce back.

It's time to unleash Jamarra. If he doesnt go well then he goes back when Naughton returns. If he plays well then give him a couple. We already know what Shache offers us. Lets have a look at the kid

Young was dangerous forward and can stay - Sydney are a small forward line so don’t need another tall. Schache would have come in for Naughty if he could have stood up in the VFL today - still may play and has been pushing and getting better.

Crozier was good in VFL - way too good for that level and Khamis was not great - he was just OK so probably an easy decision.

Another option is Bedendo - he was very dangerous and will get some games soon probably just didn’t do enough to displace Hannan but is pressing.

Scott was similar to this other games but Red is just much better and will come back in if fit.

JUH playing a first game against Buddy would be poetic - he is certainly working harder but would prefer he can in as a third forward not a second. Also need defence from our forwards against a Sydney team that runs out of HBF for much of their scoring. So probably not yet.

English looked out of sorts from the beginning-Goldy was just way too good but after his showing against NicNat I will back him against Sydney but he may need help.
Sydney had a big win so expect few changes but Sinclair was very good in the twos and they could look at what Nth was able to do and try and work us over in the ruck. Don’t need two - remember Pittonet doing us over one game. Problem is Sweet was monstered by their number three ruck and our reject so can’t expect and improvement there yet and Martin still a few weeks away I believe.

I like Young’s extra height in defence- Cordy just can’t get a fist to tall forwards. Last week, when he went into the ruck, we got out marked back there.

Play him in defence. Need another marking forward- ideally Martin is fit, otherwise it will be Jamarra or Schache.

picking Jamarra should give the game a bit more pep- this will be good for us.
