Channel Ten a DISGRACE

Get over it man. Calling Channel 10 a disgrace just because they show replays of his mark rather than taking off the glove, you need to get over it. Besides, what do you care about the glove anyway, you a Collingwood supporter.

Can only hope the DVD has coverage of the lap of honour.

It will certainly have a clean screen (no annoying pop-up ads) and the choice of commentary feature so we can switch off Ch.10 and tune into one of the selected radio calls instead.

Yeah that was a disgrace. After the siren they should just stay with the coverage on the ground until they go down to the rooms. There's no need to go back to the studio etc like they did so often. It's the first year I can remember where so little on ground post match celebration was shown.

The way to go was to turn the audio on Ten down and pop on the radio.

They may not be to everyone's taste, but the commentary of the last quarter on 3AW was spine-tingling stuff.

A friend said the 3LO/ABC call was a ripper as well.

But whoever at Ten said they could put the Love Actually ad onscreen while the match was in progress should have their brain yanked out via their small intestine.

Found the thread topic pretty funny actually, as my mates and I were complaining about the same thing .

WTF was with that camera angle they had for shots on goal at the City End? Great work Channel 10 .

Was at the game, but taped the coverage. Good job Ten. Obviously they need to employ half a dozen experts from the BigFooty forum to help them out with next year, but a good effort overall. And if I could just point out that the word DISGRACE is the second most misplaced adjective behind TRAGEDY. (In the descriptive sense English teachers.) Find another word you radio talk-back @%&#heads!

Channel Ten's coverage was a disgrace today.

Twice in the last half Nick Davis had a shot on goal from around 50 metres. So what angle does 10 give us. A shot from ground level down the ground and we can only go on the commentators as to whether the ball has carried the distance as you have no clue from the camera angle.

We want to be able to tell what is happening, not having to watch ****house camera angles that they consistently use.

I agree.

As to the "commentary", I found it reasonable but the camera angles when players were taking set shots on goal were dreadful.

Many times it was impossible to get an appreciation as to whether the ball was going to carry the goal line or if it was close or whether it was going to fall well short.

10 should have a good look at this aspect of their coverage and fix it up before next season.
