There's no such rule
Certainly not where the Pies are concerned.

Honestly, Chappy and Selwood might take advantage of the high contact rule but the Pies get away with murder with the "ball jarring loose" rule. They clearly plan on simply dropping the ball whenever caught without a chance to dispose of it, and they never get pinged.

Can someone explain the difference between what Chapman did tonight to what Hocking did to Kerr a fortnight ago?

I don't for one second think that Chappy should be rubbed out, but I said the same for Hocking. Both are NOT sling tackles. If the MRP are consistent ...

... forget it. Who am I kiddin'?

Musta been watching a different ground, his head didnt hit the ground at no stage
The slow motion they replayed during the live tv coverage clearly showed Chapman upend Wellingham from the ground and sling him to the ground causing Wellinghams face to to make contact and slam into the ground.

Whilst as a typical Collinwood supporter Im hoping that any Geelong players get suspended (as they're our most dangerous threat), even a non-collingwood supporter knows that if the MRP are going to be consistent, Chapman will definately be sitting out next week

Guerra will probably give some secret evidence unsupported by any video and he'll get 34 weeks.
Quite possible. or Andy Otten might fall over and claim that that he was struck by Chappy.

did not see it, but after looking at the king tackle it doesn't take much to get in trouble these days. still pissed at that one. probably as good a reference as any when it comes to determining the severity needed to be suspended.
