Keep Justin, trade down to pick 2 and select the best player in the draft... MHJ. Apparently he's a generational talent.

There is speculation we will get the commanders 2025 1st rounder in the trade also. If that is the case we will have enough draft capital to address the qb position next year if Justin doesn't work out.

Either way, bears fans are dead certain we will end up with the wrong qb. At least we will have Marvin!

Fields is a horrible qb adding more weapons won’t really do much he struggles to use weapons he has. The problem is if you pass on qb you are stuck trying to get a qb in 2025 which is looking like a pretty bad draft for qbs could be 2022 Kenny Pickett bad.

You do tend to exaggerate with Fields.
Every analyst ( outside of BF) thinks he’s a 2nd round trade pick. Hes a great athlete with an average to below average arm but not horrible imo.
I’m still leaning towards trading him and taking Williams now though.
I see him as middling but his ceiling still won’t win us anything.

Lance never got a clean go of it and I will die on that hill you don’t give up on top 3 pick after 3 and abit games.

Fields for me just hasn’t improved as a passer, he only has 6 games over 225 passing yards out of 40 games, plus still has trouble hanging onto the ball 38 career fumbles in 40 games to go with 30 interceptions. The bears ain’t going to improve if they keep fields that’s just my honest belief add another receiver won’t really matter if he can’t get the ball to them.

Jackson plays on a better coached side with better weapons and protection, but agreed I’d still prefer him

I think one of biggest problems I have with fields is I am old school I want my qbs to be great in pocket and scramble when they have to. Fields is more a great rusher pretty average in pocket passer. I allow Jackson a pass cause his been successful with it and field’s unfortunately hasn’t been.

Agree but swap teams , schemes, talent surrounding them both and the gap would narrow somewhat

Nah Jackson is just a better runner, passer and protector of the ball. I think if they swapped positions bears would finish 2nd in division and wildcard spot. And ravens likely just miss playoffs.

QBR is a better example lamar is ranked 4th this year fields is 23rd. Only qbs worst than fields are Howell, O'Connell, Pickett, Ridder, Mac Jones, Young and Zach Wilson.

DJ has had garbage QBs throwing him the ball throughout his entire career and still produced so not competing with much really. DJ is a beast, should be more highly regarded league wide than he is.

Had the second most targets for a season for his career this year. His second season with Kyle Allen as his QB is pretty similar with 2 less games apart from the TDs

Actually pleased with Kmets progression as a TE.
Hardly elite but more than serviceable.
If we can bring in a top young WR to compliment DJ and Kmet I’ll be happy.

A lot to love about to Kmet had a great year 9th in recieving and tied for 2nd in TDs for TEs. Top 10 te for me.
