Who's the better kick SPP or D'Aloia?Ginbey over SPP
D’Aloia over Gilbey- they were close but the latter had a pretty bad break in his leg and with that comes risk. The former is an inside mid which we are short of and Gilbey is more a flanker
D’Aloia for meWho's the better kick SPP or D'Aloia?
AsterixTheGaul Monocle Obeanie1 who do you rate higher SPP or Reuben Ginbey?
What about Sam Gilbey or Adam D'Aloia?
Highly unlikely Ginbey makes it to pick 20. Where as Gilbey or D'Aloia are probably the two best midfield options that might be left on board by your pick 26.
Which list of draft picks would you prefer to take to the draft?Ginbey over SPP.
D'Aloia before Gilbey.
@ Pick # 26 I am hoping that Burgiel is still there and if not Charlie Clarke.
I would take both before D'Aloia and I am a big fan of Adam.
Not a mid but Harry Barnett is around that 26 range too, on my White Board.
Second for sure.Which list of draft picks would you prefer to take to the draft?
2, 20, 26, 33, 40
or
2, 15, 20, 56

That’s very true.West Coast have never prioritised WA talent over best available. It's not in the Pieman's psyche.

Did they say anything more specific about the split? Like which team and what kind of picks? Or how strong the preference will be for Buss/Hewett/Ginbey? Feel like the home grown factor hasn't been as much of a factor as it seems, players are just following the money as usual. Please no need to be disrespectful. I was just sharing what I heard from my sources. I don't normally say much at all regarding inside info. Many on here claim much more outlandish statements such as being afl recruiters etc. Or knowing the draft better than knightmare or Twomey. Seems it's a contest of egos on here.
They don't reveal too much I'm afraid. It was a battle just to get that out of them. Buss Ginbey and Hewett were mentioned as being targets if a pick split of 2 eventuates. Main message I got was that there is a feeling the go home factor risk may have increased across the afl.Did they say anything more specific about the split? Like which team and what kind of picks? Can't wait for Victorian heads to explode when two of them want to return at the end of 2025.4 WA boys in the top 20.
Don’t know.Question for briztoon : has Brisbane decided that the go home risk is diminished with WA kids? Looks like you have 9 on your list.
Ha yeah chris25 was always taking potshots at himlol, has had run ins with most of the other draft watchers on the draft board.
It's pretty simple keep pick 2 pick one of Warlord or Tsatas.
If not injured they are both AFL ready and would expect to make an immediate impact.
Think we will really regret not picking up one of these players !!!!!
Especially if we get frickin pick 8
In reality we need a pick before Geelongs pick 7 if we want Jhye Clark
It is pretty clear that Sheezel, Cadman, Tsatas and Wardlaw will go in the top 5. Ashcroft is 1 but not in playIf we are trading picks now to get in a position to take a specific player in the top 10 we aren't doing the right thing. The order can and will change from here (still testing to go etc).
We need to have a group of at least 3 players we are interested in if we trade into the 5-10 range - otherwise just keep pick 2 and reach slightly.

“He’s a left-footer, a big-bodied midfielder, he can play half-back as well … he has leadership qualities all over him and he’s going to be a future 200-gamer to any team he goes to.
