I have a feeling he will play basically up forward without going in to the ruck. I think the club has good faith in Jamar and Martin to do that while Clark can be used up forward with Watts, Jurrah and co.

I think this deal is just as good for someone like Jurrah who will end up playing basically as a third tall, and he could be VERY damaging in that role. Same for Howe, Petterd and the rest.

Great get for the club and exactly what we need.

I think it says a lot about the club that they had the belief and go get to chase a guy like Clark despite him openly wanting to be at Freo.

Its having the belief and courage to make things like this happen, no one thoughtthis was a snowballs chance and melbourne were just wasting there time. I personally was annoyed with Richmond for not having the same courage or belief to chase him, and not just conceding he wants to go to WA

Why s everyone happy. We have just wasted our pick 12 on an overrated, under-performing ruck/fprward who we dont even need. This guy is getting paid ridiculous amounts, when hes probly only worth half of what he is leeching off the majority of our salary cap.

He is not a marquee player but is being paid like one. we could actually land a "marquee player" with the money we are paying him. We shudve gone all out for Tippett..

You'd have to expect he'd play predominantly forward.

Stef Martin is versatile enough to keep his spot and play 2nd fiddle in the ruck to Jamar, pinch-hitting either at FF or in the back when needed.
