Clarkos manager may have been one but we were leaking like a siv from every level and seemingly still are based on todays article in the age. Caro has said a number of times that there were a number of sources leaking.

Caro's level of caustic holier than thou vindictive accusatory media style means I don't trust her as ever delivering news.
I know every time I listen that she has sieved whatever snippets of real story she is given through a shrivelled little heart and calcified mind.

In my HO you are welcome to enjoy her, and just as welcome to despise her.
To portray her as somehow brave or journalistically authentic and responsible would be to ignore all the lives she smashes aside without pause or care. She seeks to re-make every story line so that it is viewed only through her lens, not for others to consider.
Her life mission has been to make herself an important part of the sports scene, not to enrich it with insight and well considered sports stories and revelation.
There are others like her, but not many with her sense of extraordinary self aggrandizing and obnoxious joie de vivre.
She'd make a great politician's hatchet person.

If there is a massive plunge they shut down the market or won’t accept the bet.

it’s a joke but not as simple as Clarko telling his son he is taking the job who then tells his 30 mates to load up.

They are watching very closely - number of bets, time of bets, where they are coming from etc etc and if something looks fishy then they suspend the market .

a few people might get lucky and make some $$$ but the rest of the mugs placing bets based on whispers and gossip more than covers any payouts.

I get the sentiment, but it’s not exactly like he wasn’t looked after by us. Somewhere between $1.2- 1.5mill a year isn’t chicken feed.

Wonder what Carlton need to up the offer to get him to reconsider such a basket case of a club, having now seen that the board is split and that it’s finals or bust? $1.8 and up?

Will ruin his legacy if he takes the Carlton job. He has always been a man of his word and has always spoken up for clubs mistreating coaches and especially sacking them early. Will just show he is money hungry.

It doesn't make any sense to me why clarko would jump straight back in to work when he can have a year off with pay and still probably name just about any club he wants to go too. Even if they weren't looking I bet a number of clubs would at the very least put him on a retainer before shafting their current coach.

Come on he's not some poor bloke struggling to feed his family, he's worth 15 million+

If he does take the job it brings his integrity into question, fair to say why he's not coaching us next year if thats the case.
