At the news conference Jeff Kennett is going to also announce his resignation to give the club clean air going forward. However, it is not clear yet whether he will apologise for creating this whole mess.

Clarkson was leaving at the end of next year so if this was going to bubble along in the background I’d much rather it all come to a head in July 2021 then still be getting spoken about discussed and implied by the media in July 2022.
