did I read this right? Melbourne give up a top 5 player on the league, plus 3 first rounders for an unknown 18 year old and 4 average players from Essendon?

Dees in: 4,9, Doedee compo
Dees out: Oliver, 24
GC in: 20,23,24 and Crows F1
GC out: 4
Dees can then play with 4,5,9,13 and F1 (+ a bunch of spud compo picks) for 1 if they choose.

GC have 10 17 and F1 already on the table that doesn't top that given they will on trade them
Can’t see the eagles trading 1 away for 4 until they know what’s happening with the mckay compo and potentially even a little guarantee (somehow) that the roos won’t take Curtin.

bid on our F/S Max M at pick 17 last year..
so we effectively “used” a first rounder at last years draft..

I wouldn’t put either in an Oliver trade.
That being said I’d give up Rachele before I’d give up TT.
And yeah, if a deal can’t get done not involving those guys then I’m happy to walk away.

Dees and Adelaide combined with 9,13,20,23,24,33 + Grundy/Harmes/Doedee/Jordan compo + 2x F1s trump anything bulldogs can offer for 4

Melbourne offered 2 first for Tsatas less than 12 months ago

I really don’t see how this is the case.
Oliver feels he’s not being managed how he wants. Melbourne encourage him to look at his options, he finds a bunch of clubs willing to give him what he wants. Not really a kick up the arse.
Unless they’re gambling that a bunch of other clubs are telling him he has to get in line or they won’t take him, which seems unlikely.
