Out of all of them, Benny Dixon would have been the most deserving of a flag, but I wouldn't have taken willo out of the 2008 team to include him

Yeah I know, pessimistic said they wouldn't want to take willo out of the 2008 team for Dixon, but Dixon could have replaced Osborne in that side.

In my opinion though Dixon wasn't good enough in 07 to get another year, and had to be moved to the back line to make room for Roughead, Franklin, Boyle, Osborne etc..

Unfortunately Dixon was a yard too slow for someone his size, otherwise he was a quite skillful and smart player, he was the onfield forwad coach for Rough and Buddy for a couple of years until they learnt what to do.
Osbourne was just that bit quicker and had a big bit of campaigner about him, not to forget he could take the odd hanger too.
