I may be blind but reading off that timetable it seems to only effect trains from Geelong to Waurn Ponds (never heard of it)
Not from southern to gee

Waurn Ponds is the end of the line 2 stops after South Geelong.

Apologies it seems like from Southern Cross to Geelong will be ok. Then replacement bus from Geelong to South Geelong (or walk) 2km.

Keep an eye on these websites for updates closer to game day as things can change in a heartbeat with PT.

Getting here by Train

Geelong is approximately one hour from Melbourne’s Southern Cross Station, with the Geelong Railway Station situated 1.8 kilometres to the north of the stadium and South Geelong Station located 450 metres to the east. Making ‘getting to the stadium’ simple and convenient.

Additional services may be provided by V/Line on Major Event days. Patrons are encouraged to visit the V/Line and/or Public Transport Victoria websites, for more information.

Getting here by Car

Geelong is 75 kilometres from Melbourne accessible via the Westgate Bridge and following the Princes Freeway.

In Geelong, the Princes Freeway becomes Latrobe Terrace (no turns required). Once you reach the set of traffic lights directly adjacent to 7-Eleven turn left onto Kilgour Street and make an immediate right. This will take you straight into Kardinia Park’s main entry being Kilgour Street.

Parking

There will be no public parking available for our clash with the Hawks.

If you require further information regarding parking arrangements, please contact membership@geelongcats.com.au

Getting here by Bus

Public Bus Stops are located along Moorabool Street, directly opposite Gate 5 – Bernie Smith (river end) and Gate 1 – Polly Farmer (city end).

Please note: The bus routes are subject to change based on road closures along Moorabool Street – these will be implemented for specific Major Events and you should continue to monitor the Kardinia Park website for updates.

Telling you how to drive to cat park entrance then saying but don’t park there is special

Lots of Cats folk are on a suspended license and need to let their mum know how to drop them off at the game.

The best advice I can give, is don’t forget to take your shots. There are some pretty feral supporters down there and most likely they could bite. If infected you might start chanting Geee Long, humming an annoying tune and most importantly lose 90% of your IQ. So be safe and take all necessary precautions…

Considering I saw a grown man dress up as a cat and meow/claw at someone at a game, I’d tend to agree

Any pre-game pubs getting a visit from any of the Hawks BigFooty family?

Would be looking to get a beer pre-game & seeing some Brown & Gold would be ideal.
