The 25-year-old had to have two screws inserted in the lower part of his finger and he is expected to wear some form of cast before making his return to training.

He obviously did something stupid. How does one break a finger playing Frisbee with an animal that doesn't have the ability to throw it back.

I broke my knuckle when we lost to Melbourne last year. Took me, an unfit 30 something year old 7 weeks to recover. Howe should be able to do full training and have it good in 5-6 weeks max. Won't stop him doing running and keeping fitness high.
