I liked Seedsman tonight. He always showed flashes but wonder if he can put it all together for a solid season. Would have rather held onto him that some other blokes on the list...

He has 3 good games a season. Guess he only has 2 go to now.

Simply, he's just not that good.

Even if it was, I wouldn't be risking him. Sore or weak calf and recent-ish knee reconstruction... hardly an ideal combination.

Greenwood will be in the side for him anyway.

I think our preparation has been excellent.
Going by the NAB Challenge "ladder" you can temper our result given we share top spot with Freo and Melbourne. I would say given the company and no insult to Melbourne it's half as good as it appears.
The best result has been our young and untried players getting a taste, at a very very low injury cost for once.
Add to the that the fact we start the real season in the "habit" of winning and some outstanding single quarter come backs, all bodes well for a good start to 2016 proper.

Hope you're right. Can't complain about winning games I suppose, but as you say, its only NAB. If there was a cause for concern, I believe we were the most scored against side throughout that series. We are still susceptible defensively imo. Hopefully the switch to 4 point games sorts that out

The Saints nuffies never cease to amaze, also found an amusing anecdote on their board about Freeman:

We are better then Collingwood they were so happy to steal Ball they gave him Greening's number still hadnt got over it and even though i think O'Dea's number was free for Freeman we are trying to move forward.
Collingwood will target Freeman when he first plays them and Eddie will cheer them on just like he did in 2005

....Ball was #12, Greening was #22 lol

I've posted there a few times. Provided you stay respectful they actually aren't too bad over there. Compared to the Richmond board it's like chalk and cheese. Post there and they'll try to murder you through their monitors!
