Just saw Pendles and Alex Davis walking down Flinders Lane in their gym gear. Not gay but couldn't get my eyes off Scott.

There was a hot yoga studio nearby which I assume they were going to. May have to join up *cough cough*

Alex was in her gym gear and you were fixated on Scott. Yeah, totally not gay... :p

I think that is Based on us NOT playing Finals for 2 Years. IF we make Finals that will Rise a Fair Bit
Personally 10th is a fair call. I guess we as fans are naturally biased but I think 10 is reasonable.

I just want to remind fans that last year our midfield lost plenty of midfield battles, in Many areas, I think centre clearances was one we barely won. We were not a great midfield side last year but a great contested side. We shouldn't get carried away thinking treloar makes us top 4 in the midfield department he doesn't. To be honest I would've said we were 8-9 but since everyone thinks we're top 4-5 we'll see what happens

I was pessimistic too up until the Intramatch.
My optimism is that those clearances will be a lot more in our favor this year.
DeGoey has definitely improved after the preseason. Adams and Greenwood seem to be in for a big 2016. All 3 BOG or close to that in our NAB matches.
Compared that to last year with only Adams doing the grunt work, Greenwood coming off an injury and DeGoey in his debut.

Greenwood had an A-grade season for north a couple of years back and just attacks the ball so well, I do rate his inside game and has returned well from his injury as has had an excellent preseason and De Goey seems to be improving on an already impressive first season, attack on the ball is first class and potentially could be anything, I guess I didn't take both sides into consideration and I do agree that we have had significant improvement in the midfield we still don't have the top quality of some opposition teams, personally id rather play swan as a forward. Although swan had an excellent season last year, polled well in Brownlow and 2nd in BnF and had an amazing swanny ending to 2015 I bloody love him in the forward line. He moves so different and it's deceiving watching him, doesn't look like he can do anythig but boy his explosive energy in the forward line is amazing, still remember him playing forward against Hawks last year and being so influential in our 50, was near best on. So I think if we take swan out of the midfield equation I think our starting 6 is quite strong on paper but I still would be optimistic to say we're 4-5 best as to be rated on the top handful you need to be consistent and personally I think consistency is our problem as we are lacking 1 more elite midfielder to push us into that top bracket.

Swan will be playing fwd. I am quite bullish there too about his prospects compared to earlier in the season. But with Howe and Elliott still to land a spot he might go back sometimes.
I don't think we can land that extra elite player. But some of our midfield have to lift their game a bit more . Apparently Sidebottom has some room for improvement and Aish has only started. The latter I see him in his 2nd year, his time at the Lions has cost him a year.
Add a bit more from Crisp and it does looks good.

They have their own fitness business that they have been pumping up on social media all preseason (its been driving me nuts)......called progression fitness. You could always join that if you wanna get hot and sweaty with scott....or alex....im not gonna judge

They've also been spruiking a free week trial.

You may pass out if you have a sudden rush of blood, though.

Hopefully someone else is going to training today because i cant go now! We need Reid updates lol!

Without reading the rest of the posts, I can fill you in on Reid. Apologies if this has already been mentioned.

He was out on the ground early on in some kicking drills. When they moved to match practice, Reid came to the sidelines and was doing 3/4 pace sprints in a straight line over about 80 metres right in front of me. He went inside after a while. Was running well, pushing reasonably hard, but wasn't changing direction.

Also Grundy wasn't out there at all yesterday.

See a few [positive] opinions on the group and Reidy in Neil A's responses to questions on his training report:
