Would you be Interested in Robbie Tarrant or Lachlan Hansen from the Roos?
I'm not sure either would be cheap, but Tarrant has shown he can play when he's not injured. Hansen is looking like he has no confidence in what he's doing, kind of like a KPP version of Tambling.

Good call Dave, someone had to say it, Wood has been better than Brown lately, my tip is we drop Brown for the prelim and get him nice and pissed off, keep it going untill mid-week for the granny and let him loose, everytime he's questioned he comes our breathing fire!!!!
Last year I picked 10 of the 11 departures (only one I missed was Medhurst), so with the season nearing to an end below are my predictions for a bit of fun:

Yes I know they are all Premiership players and young, but you have to flash around something half decent if you want something worthwhile in return.
Gives us every opportunity to get plenty of games into Fasolo, Sinclair, Young, Keefe.. whoever is left from the potential trade bait category and N.Brown, which effectively is a 'new recruit' in 2012.

I think you are being far too aggressive to be honest. I think Boltong will certainly remain next year, and I think Buckley and either McCarthy or Dick will remain. I am not sure if Johnson will retire this year either.
I think we will only make 4 senior list changes - Brown, Dick, Davis, Stubbs. To fill these holes, we will promote Bolton, take Witts onto the senior list, and use our first two draft picks. If we can talk Davis into staying (I pray) then we will one make 3 changes.
As for the rookies, we will lose Perham, S-Mac, and Reilly, and promote Bolton. We will bring on Hartley and Mooney (Irish), and therefore have one live rookie pick (as S-Mac is an international rookie).
No way should we get rid of Jye Bolton, he's gonna be a star! If McCarthy doesn't get traded we shouldn't delist him. I think Buckley is saved for another year after this year. Can't see Benny J retiring tbh

Is as good as gone.
Has had the 3 years on the rookie list - after which time you either have to promote. Or delist.
Hasn't played and hasn't played VFL footy with any level of consistancy this year so it looks nearly certain that he will get delisted.

yeah agreed but think it is worth noting that its not necessarily bc he cant play I think its more a reflection of the fact we have so many of his type its just been hard for him to break in. I look at Johnson from Swans and they are very similar players - hopefully gets picked up by one of the coaches who go off to new clubs. Cant see why Dees wouldnt rookie him for example.

Why would we delist Buckley..? He has show that he can actually play AFL level and provides necessary depth to our backline -especially with Johnson and Davis to apparently retire according to that list. Bolton has shown more than enough to justify a second year and possible promotion.

50/50 to be retained as a rookie, won't be promoted thats for sure.

As much as I hate to say it I think there may be some truth to Bolton being moved on. I've seen it pop up twice now in the past few days and the same happened with Blight last year. I chose to view that as bullcrap and got burned so I'm preparing for the worst....
Blight had been on the list for 2 years though hadn't he? He also had a much worse year in the VFL in the year he got delisted than Bolton has in his first year.

Both of the points you make are 100% correct, however being away from the inner sanctum we just don't know what they think. In 2009 the Saints at one stage asked for a straight swap of Blight for Ball that's how highly he was rated and within 12 months he was gone.
I, like many others, see something in Jye, but he does have issues with his disposal and Buckley has come out and stated a number of times that he wants good users of the ball. So like I said I'm going to prepare for the worst

Has this been confirmed as correct or is it just a BF rumour?
I'd be surprised if Bolton was delisted. The rest wouldn't shock me. I know Shae Mac has confirmed he is gone.
I spoke to one of Tom's close friends yesterday who was told personally from Tom. However, I'm personally hoping Bolton isn't included in the delistings. So yeah 100% sure Gordon is gone.
