Good to have the GM role filled.

So, any more vacancies to fill? I’ve lost track - what about the position vacated by Bolton?
Bolton was more or less doing the Wright role, I think.

Hine needs to be replaced too, I suppose..The Age article suggested Adam Shepard could be promoted. But I don't know if that was just a guess.

And Barry Carp likely to succeed Browne as President.

A bunch of appointments, or reappointments, mentioned here:

... This has seen the recent appointment of Matthew Boyd as an Assistant Coach and also Trevor Hendy who will head up the Club’s leadership program.

In addition, Richard Little has been appointed in a strategic role as a List and Recruiting Analyst as part of the Club’s commitment to further bolster and invest in list management and recruiting. Little has vast experience in data innovation and analytics and has joined Collingwood from the Victorian Institute of Sport.

The Club’s commitment to the community and fostering the next generation of fan, member and talent sees the creation of a new initiative titled Future Magpies. As part of this new program, Collingwood has appointed experienced administrator Gerard Jess, former AFL players Lynden Dunn and Dom Tyson and experienced educator and development coach Steve Grace to deliver programs focussed on Next Generation Academies (NGA), Peter Daicos Academy and driving fan development, engagement and talent outcomes for boys and girls, nationally.

Contrary to some views, the club hasn't been sitting on it's figurative hands.
They have taken the time to assess what our programs should look like.
Good to see Dunny back at Collingwood - he was a great pickup until he did his knee and he's a good bloke.
It's also good to see Matt Boyd back.

And Murphy has a role somewhere too.

Right there with you on the appointments.
Love having Boydy & Dunny back in there different roles.
Clearly, LOTS of intriguing appointments on the different fronts, with Gardner, Little & Steve Grace, in particular.

Beat me to it 😂
In fairness Harry beat us both… MM’s now on thin ice with me. We all get it wrong, but the past two rumours were both overtly negative and shot down in less than 24 hrs. Not cool.

I’m dubious about the Hendy appointment. I’m sure I remember rumours floating around during his last tenure of some pretty nasty toxic behaviour.

I seem to recall Bucks had him as a mentor? But more recently heard McRae on a podcast (maybe Browny's pod, not sure) full of praise for Hendy.

But you're right I do seem to recall something weird happening under a previous appointment...?
