Bolton was more or less doing the Wright role, I think.

Hine needs to be replaced too, I suppose..The Age article suggested Adam Shepard could be promoted. But I don't know if that was just a guess.

And Barry Carp likely to succeed Browne as President.

As part of this new program, Collingwood has appointed experienced administrator Gerard Jess, former AFL players Lynden Dunn and Dom Tyson and experienced educator and development coach Steve Grace to deliver programs focussed on Next Generation Academies (NGA), Peter Daicos Academy and driving fan development, engagement and talent outcomes for boys and girls, nationally.

Good to see Dunny back at Collingwood - he was a great pickup until he did his knee and he's a good bloke.

I seem to recall Bucks had him as a mentor? But more recently heard McRae on a podcast (maybe Browny's pod, not sure) full of praise for Hendy.

But you're right I do seem to recall something weird happening under a previous appointment...?
