IQ doubtful, Jordy, Pendles are capable, but not fluent on both sides as Bianco, Sidey and the Daicos.Apart from Nick, Josh, Jordy, Pendles and Quaynor. Who else?

Yeah I'm taking the piss mate.Jordy, Pendles and IQ are capable, but not fluent on both sides as Bianco, Sidey and the Daicos.
I agree, I'd rather Draper too. Some of his skills makes you think..this boy has something. Just hasn't put it all together yet.I think I’d rather keep Draper than Carmichael in the instance that Macrae asks for a trade.
I’d also be less worried about it given a certain #35 has taken more midfield minutes and almost pushed Mitchell out of the rotation and we have the option after another preseason of trialing Reef or even Beau in the guts.

Got nothing to do with my point.
Name a player, that never turned it over or kicked the ball out on the full?
How many players could have hit Elliot with the pin point pass to win the game against Ess last year?
I agree on Draper. He hasn't had a clear run due to injury & illness, but has the potential to be a really good inside mid - keep for at least another year.I think I’d rather keep Draper than Carmichael in the instance that Macrae asks for a trade.

Sounds perfectly logical to me and was what I suspected to be the case. From what I'm told about the Cox deal, and this comes from someone who has "ok-ish" links within the club so you may take this for as little or high value as you like (I personally tend not to believe things unless it comes straight from someone inside the club), the Cox deal is basically the cash he would've got on a one year deal, smoothed over 2 years with a little bit on top - with the majority of the money being paid in 2024.
Like I said - this comes from someone with decent relationships with people within the club, but even then I take this sort of stuff with a grain of salt, but it does have some level of sense about it. You'd think Mason may still be a fairly "required" player next year, with the hope that by the end of 2024 and heading into 2025, the likes of an AJ/Kreuger have settled themselves in the side and/or a Steene is ready to replace him, and Mason becomes a back up ruck in '25 on minimum chips.
One average game does not define what a player can be.Draper isn’t going to make it.
Happy for him to be delisted.
Go watch the bulldogs VFL game. Last qtr.
He legit gave up 3 shots on goal on his own.
2 were horrible decisions/disposal.
The last one was blocking the ruck and a complete brain fade.
I was on board with keeping him, but that game showed me that he doesn’t have the game sense and mental side of it.
Happy for him to be a casualty.
Yup. Get that. One average game does not define what a player can be.
JACK PLANS TO STAY A PIE
Jack Ginnivan has been given a licence to roam further afield in the VFL as he commits to putting his head down to win back his spot in the senior side.
Ginnivan has no plans to explore the trade market despite being shut out of the Pies senior side since round 12.
Collingwood’s VFL side played Sandringham across the weekend with a raft of AFL recruiters on shows as they assessed the Pies depth talent including Finn Macrae.
Ginnivan won 29 possessions in the contest _ his highest possession tally in his time at Collingwood.
In yet another sign of Collingwood’s strength, the contracted forward is putting his head down and bum up to refine his forward craft at the Pies.
Ginnivan kicked 40 goals as an old-fashioned goalsneak last year but amid a positive drugs strike and internal suspension had a delayed start to the season.
He kicked eight goals in eight weeks in the AFL but was dropped after round 12.
Against Sandringham last he week he roved across the field _ and as high as half back _ as the Pies released him from the forward 50m.
Bobby Hill has been quieter in recent weeks with only three and six possessions, so Ginnivan’s chance might not far away.
Clubs at this time of the year aggressively pursue players stuck in the VFL with loads of talent but for Ginnivan the only issue is staying at the Pies as he pushes for a finals berth.
Clubs will be looking at a host of young Magpies who have struggled to push for regular selection in the top of the table side including Trent Bianco and Josh Carmichael.
Not sure the word ‘humans’ can be applied to the Bulldogs board. How do supporters on BF know about the trades? Last year, posters knew Hill, McStay and Frampton were all coming to the Pies well before mainstream media reported it. We're humans. People have connections. In the grand scheme of things, footy isn't a big industry and if you know people, you know inside info. Hine has said we are happy but like any list manager, that's subject to change and there may have been an incident or circumstantial change.
That sounds quite extremeIn the telecast of the weekends game, they mentioned Begg has put on 13kg in the last 18 months
Pffft. Hold my beer…That sounds quite extreme
Liam Henry is yet to be offered a contract by the Dockers.
I would happily have him at the Pies.

Henry’s ex coach Ross Lyon? Whoever wrote this might want to re-check those timelines…

Yes, it was announced on the same day as Cox & Harvey.Has it been been mentioned anywhere that Ash Johnson has signed on for two more years. I just read this as it was announced with Cox and HH all doing likewise.
