That would be an absolutely phenomenal get. Not many in the entire league I’d chase before him.

So that probably tells you it won’t happen. Likely the next Eagles captain. If it was GWS or GC we’d be a better chance.

If Macrae comes out and says I want to be traded to a certain club , given he is contracted what would we expect to get.

Given he is contracted, it would have to be decent, otherwise, I'd be firm and be like.. you stay for another year. Would not give him away for nothing.

He probably would have played early on if he had a proper pre-season. But yeah, surely he would get opportunities next year.

He’s going to be a star, but is a Perth boy so would be very hard to drag him over. He’s only 24 so has plenty of years to wait for the Eagles to sort their rabble out.

That’s probably his worth if he was uncontracted. If we prefer to keep him I can’t imagine we’d release him from his contract without a favourable offer though.

I think an early second. Begrudgingly. We don't have to trade him, we're under no obligation and I would suggest we don't and instead think about how he can come into plans for 2024. All it will take is one injury.
