I’ve always wondered about all the the Mysterious “Paddy Dow” they / media talk him up like he is Judd yet he can’t get a game

After last night I now know why he doesn’t get game, a plodder is probably too kind of a description

Should we be trying to have a crack at Jake Riccardi? OOC again and looks pretty good on his day, not really seeing some of the knocks on him re: lack of pace or leaping ability highlights seems to show he's not lacking in either area?
Maybe to take over from Checkers (still hoping Kruegs can be that man) as he nears retirement with McStay as the focal key forward and AJ as our third tall.
Really hope we can draft a natural key forward to develop if we don't go and get a Naughton/King.

No! We don’t need an almost good player, we need a gun.

Probably not going to happen for a number of reasons. Another 35-40+ goal player who can get out on the lead and make space for McStay closer to goal is all we need. Whether someone like Riccardi (or Kreuger) is that player remains to be seen, but he looks as good as anyone else who is OOC and wont cost us the world to bring in.

Ssshhhhh, don't say that too loud, Carlton and their supporters might hear you and might omit him next week, just let them happily sip on their own bath water.

Riccardi could be the 3rd tall with a view to taking over from Mihocek in the future, he's the right age and probably wouldn't cost too much, Howe is currently playing that position but obviously not a long term solution, but if we pinch a flag this year with a few Howie speccies up forward that would be sweet as.

Am hearing from a good family friend of jhye Clark has apparently told Geelong he won't sign another contract and wants to be traded to Collingwood
Understandable- he lives on the other side of Geelong so it’s 81km to Melb rather than 80km that upset Ollie
Let’s give them a second rounder if we have one lying around at the end of trade week
