That Carlton list is terrible. Unfortunately, they may get stronger if they get rid of the majority of that list.Other clubs OOC, I wouldn't think there is too much of interest in this group.

Reef as a midfielder is optimistic - best position is forward. Allan is good, will likely debut next year.Reef and Allan as AFL midfielders is wishful thinking at this stage. Both look a while off.
Adams was equal second in the league for goal assists this season, and Pendles has always been a below average forward. That would be a terrible move.Id play Pendlebury there every day of the week. Drop Adams completely.

Mate you’re taking the piss. Getting top 2 in the league for any stat isn’t easy, regardless of where you get “plonked”.Wouldnt say Adams isnt a below average forward , rather have pendles leading out and delivering in than Pendles. Easy to have the numbers if you are constantly plonked there

I would introduce Finlay to the team from next year as a tagger. Showed in round 24 he is a good tackler, and he can run well.Who are you pushing to the half forward flank to give Fin those midfield minutes then?

I’d have a look at Jordon from Melb
100% correct!Yikes you get uptight over nothing
Hes averaging 1.1 over 23 games , hardly a ground breaking stat
Stats aside , as you are hanging your hat on that clearly. He is a momentum killer in general play. Takes an extra 1/2 a second than other players and gets tied up , or makes the wrong decision. Or over shoots his skill ability with the kicks he takes.
The whole idea of moving him out of the 22 , is i dont think he offers enough to warrant losing a 20 something mid to another team through lack of opportunity , when adams isnt in our best week after week and nearing the end of his career.
I am a little concerned that the other top teams seem to be into someone to improve weaknesses, and we remain pretty quiet. Can’t just tread water.
Bit surprised Ruscoe not surprised on Bianco.I've also been told there is no real interest with Ruscoe and Bianco at this point.

The 1.1 stat is 2nd best in the Game - do you get the importance of that?
You can’t deride it as insignificant.
I edited my post - Adams averages 6.3 score involvements per game, this season. His inclusion therefore goes beyond the goals he kicks.Ginnis averaging more goals and goal assists combined. On limited game time due to sub and games played.
Whole jist of my argument is for next year. Taylor Adams is not a forward option , he is being plonked there purely on the basis Mitchell is of more value in the in and under role.
I think its a wasted spot in the team if you are going to sit Adams in a role he isn't suited to and if we lost Henry last year due to opportunity ( obviously more so go home factor) then potentially Fin this year. Then we are managing out list badly.
Hes going at 4th in the GA total for season and equal 3rd for ga per game not 2nd

Good option to take a Lachie Neale type where required
Plenty of A graders are shorter than Finn who’s 188cm.Neale is just about the only A grade midfielder that he would match up on.
Everyone else would either be too fast or too big.

So size is not the issue you thought it was.Yeah and those ones are generally a lot faster than him.
Did you read the post you replied to? Too big or too fastSo size is not the issue you thought it was.
Kappa said Finn was small and slow in an earlier post. I was simply reiterating the point that size was not the issue he thought it was, with Finn being 188cm.Did you read the post you replied to? Too big or too fast
There is more to size then just heightKappa said Finn was small and slow in an earlier post. I was simply reiterating the point that size was not the issue he thought it was, with Finn being 188cm.
