If you see what Wrighty said, it barely even constitutes "interest":

"We have, I suppose, mild interest. Not so much that we don't admire him as a player. It's a matter of, OK, what's the right fit for us?

"But I have heard that he might be having a look."
Like an unattractive person asking you out

Mild interest is mild interest.
We had mild interest last year on Fiorini nothing happened, so all those guys who think Billings is a good fit , or a good gamble don't get your hopes up.
Salvagni was always a hard nut to crack to crack when he was at the gws, so don't expect a deal to be done
It was my gut reaction to thinking about having to support someone I've bagged mercilessly for years.

Don't mind the Jack Billings play if it comes to fruition. Won't cost us much, chances we get his body/head right probs higher than that late pick we trade for him turning into a player. Highly skilled etc. His best can be very good.

Wonder if we have any out of the box plans for him role wise / positionally?

Have Impact something like Hill

i'd love to see will kelly get to free agency and then we can give a club $400K to take him off our hands, and with the salary they give him, we might get a first rounder as compensation....
