In what way is he special? Good player, nothing more, nothing less imoZac Bailey is special.
I remember there being controversy when the Lions drafted him early.

24 disposals & 8 score involvements is pretty damn good.In what way is he special? Good player, nothing more, nothing less imo
Well then Bolton kicked 10 more goals playing less forward?24 disposals & 8 score involvements is pretty damn good.
His stats for the season are just slightly less than Shai Bolton and people claim he’s the next big thing.

Bailey plays less midfield minutes than Bolton too.

Thought that was why we brought in JC in the mid-season draft? Some posters wouldn't be satisfied if we managed to secure God as our CHF on a fairly modest contract. The fact that he would forever be available for selection and would immediately heal any injuries he might sustain still wouldn't persuade them he was worth recruiting.
That’s a disaster….I can see us getting Wiedman back in the Grundy Trade
Didn't realise the great Vivian Richards was contemplating coming out of retirement to join the AFL!Just picks, thanks
However, would accept VR in there as well
Quite sure if Mitchell went up against a Gawn then it wouldn't take long to realise he's not an upgrade.I’m all on board in regards to getting Tom Mitchell especially if we lose Grundy.

When you compare the pair, Mitchell is an upgrade on Grundy. Grundy I’d a clearance player. Apart from the Hitouts, Mitchell dominates Grundy elsewhere.
If we are planning to go with “marking ruckman” rather than a clearance ruckman, Tom Mitchell is the perfect midfielder.

I'm happy to give Bobby Hill the benefit of the doubt if we're not giving up too much or paying him too much
Yep was impressive. Liked that a lot.Played well in a big cut throat final did McStay--especially had to stand up even moreso when the Big O went down in first few mins.
Very good trait to have.
Except he wants to come back to Melbourne. What has been reported is well over what he is worth. It's the only way to get players out of their clubs is by offering them a better deal. You do what you have to within reason.
He's a potato ( Weideman, not Grundy)I can see us getting Wiedman back in the Grundy Trade
I’m pretty sure Weideman would still be no good, cut lengthwise and deep fried with a sprinkling of chicken salt. He's a potato ( Weideman, not Grundy)
He'll be back to his normal role next week so we will see what he can produce as a forward.
He's a Collingwood man isn't he?Didn't realise the great Vivian Richards was contemplating coming out of retirement to join the AFL!
I got the impression that Mcstay's positioning was forcing Nank to hit in Neale's area much like Mumford did to Grundy on occassions. I thought McStay was pretty smart about the way he went about itHow was Nankervis BOG?
Beaten around the ground and most of his hitouts went to Neale.
8 seasons for 24 games. Dropped early on in 2022 and didnt get back, just 6 games. Dont think you an compare.that to Darcy.Frampton
- Yes he hasn’t been a regular in the crows defensive line up but they are stacked with young talls… and has a coach who obviously has favourites and rules a line through others irrespective of form eg Crouch
- dunn, Roughead, Lipinski weren’t playing regular seniors either but were of great value to the pies
- look at his stats this year vs Moore

Smaller sample yes. And not saying he is the player Moore is… but clearly Frampton as part of our 2023 defensive mix only adds to it
All the better that he arrive on a moderate wage and it will be a cheap trade
I confess to knowing little about Frampton but on the surface it seems he has had plenty of time to make a go of AFL footy but hasnt.
8 seasons, 2 clubs, 24 games. Been moved back since 2021 and that doesnt seem to have clicked for him by selection.
Can anyone think of someone who has had such a long time in the AFL then becoming a player?
Apparently Geelong are heavily into himDidn't realise the great Vivian Richards was contemplating coming out of retirement to join the AFL!
